November 12-én bejelentés érkezett a munkácsi járási rendőrséghez egy zúgói férfitől, aki elmondta, hogy holtan talált rá otthonában 51 éves falubelijére.
A helyszínre kiérkezett az operatív csoport, akik megállapították, hogy a férfi testén erőszakos halálra utaló nyomok vannak. Több késszúrást és vágást találtak a holttesten. Mint kiderült, az áldozat iszogatott 56 éves barátjával, vita alakult ki köztük, ekkor az idősebb kést rántott és több szúrást is mért társára.
A tettest azonosították és letartóztatták, az ügyben büntetőeljárást indítottak.

A holland rendőrség letartóztatott egy gyanúsítottat egy gazdag orosz műkincskereskedő meggyilkolásával kapcsolatban, akinek a testrészeit egy kék műanyag zacskóban találták meg az IJ folyóban.
A rendőrség közölte, hogy kedden letartóztattak egy 62 éves amszterdami férfit, miután a gyanúsított DNS-e állítólag megegyezett Alekszandr Levin, a 65 éves szentpétervári műkereskedő maradványain talált nyomokkal. Az áldozatot kegyetlenül meggyilkolták, levágták a fejét és a végtagjait. A törzsét egy járókelő találta meg a vízparton, a központi pályaudvarral szemben még 2013 januárjában. A helyszínre kiérkezett az operatív csoport, akik megállapították, hogy a 74 éves áldozat testén erőszakos halálra utaló nyomok vannak. Mint kiderült, a tettes egy 46 éves kovácsréti (Kusnicja, Huszti járás) lakos, aki ittas állapotban egy vita közben súlyos ütést mért az áldozat fejére.
A gyilkost letartóztatták, az ügyben büntetőeljárás indult, a tettesre akár 10 év börtönbüntetés is várhat.

A rendőrség úgy véli, hogy a bűncselekmény Samantha Woll otthonában történt. A rendőrök több szúrt sebbel találtak rá a nő holttestére, akit a helyszínen halottnak nyilvánítottak, közölték a hatóságok.
„Megdöbbenéssel és szomorúsággal értesültünk Samantha Woll, az igazgatótanácsunk elnökének váratlan haláláról. Emléke legyen áldott” – olvasható a zsinagóga közleményében, írja a CNN.
James White rendőrfőnök azt mondta, hogy az indíték egyelőre még nem ismert.
„Érthető módon ez a bűncselekmény sok megválaszolatlan kérdést hagy maga után. Az ügyben nyomozás folyik, és arra kérek mindenkit, hogy legyen türelemmel, fontos, hogy semmilyen következtetést ne vonjunk le addig, amíg az összes rendelkezésre álló bizonyítékot nem vizsgáljuk ki alaposan” – mondta White.

Élve gyújtottak fel egy nőt az Egyesült Államokban. Az áldozatot a járdán találták meg, még mindig lángok között. A tűzoltók eloltották a tüzet, de a nő életét már nem tudták megmenteni. A rendőrség gyilkossági ügyben indított nyomozást.

A técsői járási rendőrség büntetőeljárást indított egy 31 éves férfi ellen, aki meggyilkolta 24 éves élettársát.
A hatóságokhoz bejelentés érkezett egy 31 éves tiszakirvai férfitől, aki elmondta, hogy holtan talált rá élettársára. A helyszínre azonnal kiérkezett az operatív csoport, akik megállapították, hogy a fiatal nő erőszakos halál következtében vesztette életét.
A bizonyítékok alapján a hatóságok arra a következtetésre jutottak, hogy a tettes maga a hölgy büntetett előéletű élettársa. Kiderült, hogy a tragédia napján mindketten alkoholt fogyasztottak, s vitába keveredtek. Ekkor a férfi kést ragadt és halálosan megsebesítette az áldozatot.
A tettest előzetes letartóztatásba helyezték, az ügyben folyik az eljárás, a gyilkosra 15 év börtönbüntetés is várhat.
