A támadóknál csúzlik és fáklyák is voltak, amelyekkel elvakították a járőröket. Személyi sérülésről nem érkezett jelentés , az esetet még vizsgálják. A lengyel–fehérorosz határ 186 kilométeres szakaszán közel-keleti és észak-afrikai országokból kiinduló, Fehéroroszországon át a Lukasenka-rezsim támogatásával érkező, migrációs hullám miatt Lengyelország 5,5 méter magas acélkerítést épített.
A közös határ 206 kilométer hosszú szakaszán a határfolyók mentén is mozgásérzékelőkből és kamerákból álló riasztórendszert létesítenek. Idén márciusig csaknem 40 ezer határsértési kísérletet regisztráltak, tavaly ez a több mint 60 százalékkal, mintegy 15 700-ra csökkent. A határőrök az év eleje óta több száz, illegális bevándorlás szervezésével és elősegítésével gyanúsított személyt – általában külföldieket – tartóztattak fel.

Fehéroroszország a légterének megsértésével vádolta meg Lengyelországot pénteken.
A fehérorosz határőrség tájékoztatása szerint Hrodna megye Beresztovickij kerületében egy lengyel Mi-24-es katonai helikopter megsértette a közös határt 1200 métert berepülve fehérorosz területre. A minszki hatóságok közölték, hogy a történtekről tájékoztatták a lengyel felet.
Pawel Jablonski lengyel külügyminiszter-helyettes a Polsat News televízió műsorában azt mondta, „elemzik a helyzetet, de nagy körültekintéssel kell kezelni a fehérorosz szolgálatok ilyen jellegű bejelentéseit”.
Nem sokkal később Jacek Goryszewski, a lengyel műveleti parancsnokság szóvivője közölte, hogy nem sértették meg a szomszédos állam légterét.
„Hazugságról és provokációról van szó Fehéroroszország részéről. Nem volt semmiféle ilyen határsértés” – jelentette ki az alezredes a légtérfigyelő radarokra hivatkozva.
Augusztus elején Lengyelország jelentette, hogy két fehérorosz helikopter hatolt be a légterébe. Akkor Varsó értesítette a NATO-t, majd csapaterősítésről döntött a Fehéroroszországgal közös határán. A minszki vezetés tagadta Varsó légtérsértésre vonatkozó vádjait. Az incidens tovább terhelte a két ország egyébként is feszült viszonyát.

Négy ország nagykövetségének munkatársai után kémkedtek hackerek Fehéroroszországban éveken át, az ukrajnai háború időszakában is – írta csütörtökön közzétett jelentésében az ESET szlovák informatikai biztonsági cég.
Az adatforgalom elterelésével végrehajtott adatgyűjtés két európai, egy dél-ázsiai és egy afrikai diplomata összesen 15 eszközét érinti, 2021-ben kezdődött, és jelenleg is folyamatban van – írta közleményében a jelentést összeállító Matthieu Faou.
A dokumentum szerint az eszközöket az internetkapcsolaton keresztül vették célba, valószínűleg az internetszolgáltatón keresztül. Bill Marczak, a Citizen Lab internetes jogvédő szervezet munkatársa arra hívta fel a figyelmet, hogy az ilyen támadásokat magánszemélyek csak nagyon nehezen tudják elhárítani, és az eset arra mutat rá, mennyi kiberfenyegetés leselkedik a diplomatákra.

Eduard Babarikát édesapjával együtt 2020 júniusában vették őrizetbe, tárgyalása pedig idén májusban kezdődött el.
Őrizetbe vételükkor Viktar Babarika számított Alekszej Lukasenka fehérorosz elnök egyik fő kihívójának. Eduard Babarika édesapja választási központjának vezetője volt. A tárgyalás során az ellene felhozott vádakban ártatlannak vallotta magát.
Viktar Babarikát korrupcióval vádolták, melyet vádlottként nem ismert be, így 2021-ben 14 év szabadságvesztésre ítélték. A döntés nem csak a nyugati országok körében váltott ki heves tiltakozást, de a fehérorosz ellenzék is elutasította az ítéletet, a felszólaló ellenzéki politikusok nagy része azóta azonban vagy külföldre menekült, vagy maguk is börtönbe kerültek.
A 2020-as választáson Lukasenka a hivatalos, nemzetközileg vitatott eredmény szerint elsöprő győzelmet aratott, amely az ország bő három évtizedes történelmének legsúlyosabb tiltakozási hullámát váltotta ki. Lukasenka, aki 1994 óta tölti be az elnöki posztot, elutasította az ellene felhozott, választási csalásról szóló vádakat.

Katerina Rasevszka, az emberi jogi Regionális központ jogásza, a Quebec Nemzetközi Jogi Közösség és a nemzetközi humanitárius jogszabályok ukrajnai alkalmazásával és végrehajtásával foglalkozó bizottság tagja elmondta, hogy Oroszországban valóban létezik a befogadó családokat nyilvántartó jegyzék, amelyek gondozása alatt több orosz gyermek van már.
„Ez újabb teret biztosít a manipulációhoz. Például: „hogy ne veszítsék el a juttatásokat, a gyerekek feletti felügyeleti jogot, kérjük, fogadjanak be még 10 vagy 8 ukrán gyereket” – tájékoztatott az ügyvédnő.
Elmondása szerint az Oroszországi Föderáció illegálisan és indokolatlanul megtagadja az ukrán gyerekek hazatérését Ukrajnába.
„Ez egy indokolatlan késedelem a gyerekek a hazatérését illetően […] ezek olyan intézkedések, amelyek teljes mértékben a hazatérés ellehetetlenítését szolgálják – súlyosan megsértik a genfi egyezményeket, a nemzetközi humanitárius jogot, és háborús bűnnek minősíthetőek” – fogalmazott Rasevszka.

Három orosz MiG-31K repült el Belaruszból, az Ukrán Fegyveres Erőkben pedig meg is lehet rá a válasz, miért.
Április 6-án három orosz MiG-31K típusú repülőgép hagyta el a Belarusz Köztársaságot. Ám, mint azt Jurij Ignat, az ukrán légierő parancsnokságának szóvivője elmondta, ezek a gépek hamarosan visszatérhetnek Belaruszba. A gépek nagyjából húsz percet töltöttek a levegőben, de szerinte csak azért, mert valamilyen probléma adódhatott – közölte az Unian ukrán hírügynökség.
Ignat emlékeztetett, hogy ezek a gépek Oroszországból kerültek oda a bázisrepülőtérről. Lehetséges, hogy most valamilyen üzemeltetési problémák merültek fel, de az AFU katonai parancsnokságának képviselője úgy véli, nem szabad abban reménykedni, hogy ezek a MiG-ek már nem térnek vissza.
