Az lsm.lv azt írja, hogy reggel 4:43-kor riasztották a tűzoltókat egy belvárosi épülethez, ahol egy hatszintes épület legfelső emelet és a tetőszerkezete gyulladt ki. Ekkor 24 embert pedig evakuáltak az épületből.

A polgármester nem közölte a külföldi áldozatok állampolgárságát. Stakis szerint illegális, nem valódi szállóról van szó, hanem olyan lakásról, amelyet szállóként használtak. Az áldozatok többsége Riga polgármestere szerint külföldiek. Egyelőre az áldozatok személyazonosságát és állampolgárságát nem hozták nyilvánosságra.

A rendkívüli állapot idején tilos lesz nyilvános rendezvényeket szervezni, kivételt képeznek a szabadban tartott tiltakozások és pikettek. Minden sporteseményt betiltanak, kivéve a nemzetközi olimpiai szövetségek rendezvényeit, de azokat nézők nélkül kell levezetni. A tilalom nem vonatkozik a nagyobb ligákban játszó csapatokra.
A magánrendezvényekre korlátozást vezetnek be: két háztartásból legfeljebb 10 ember gyűlhet össze. Ez azonban nem vonatkozik a temetésekre.

36 millió forintot érő cigi egy nap alatt????Szabolcs megyei munkatársaink a rendőrökkel közösen három helyszínen 36 millió forint értékű cigarettát foglaltak le.Pénzügyőrök és rendőrök ellenőriztek Méhtelek térségében egy gazdátlan autót, aminek ülésein 550 karton, kilencmillió forint értékű adózatlan dohányt találtak.Munkatársaink Fehérgyarmatnál pedig közúti ellenőrzésen, egy teherautó platóján lévő dobozokban több mint 1 300 karton adózatlan cigarettát találtak, 22 millió forint értékben.Beregdaróc térségében a pénzügyőrök és a rendőrök közös zöldhatár-ellenőrzésén egy akácos, bokros területen, az aljnövényzetbe rejtve 300 karton, ötmillió forintot érő adózatlan füstölnivalót találtak.Munkatársaink a több mint kétezer karton, 36 millió forintot érő cigarettát és a járműveket lefoglalták. Egy esetben költségvetési csalás elkövetésének gyanúja miatt feljelentést tettek.
