Franciaországban október 14-én megemelték a nemzetbiztonsági készültség szintjét és elővigyázatosságból mintegy 7000 katonát mozgósítottak. A döntést megelőző nap egy arrasi középiskola volt diákja, egy csecsen származású 20 éves orosz állampolgár halálra késelt egy tanárt, több embert megsebesített. A támadó azt kiabálta, hogy „Allahu Akbar”, azaz „Isten a legnagyobb”.
A férfi azon a napon követte el tettét, amikorra a Hamász palesztin terrorszervezet vezetői meghirdette a világ muszlim közösségeinek, hogy vállaljanak szolidaritást velük, akár zsidó- vagy Izrael-ellenes atrocitások, akár tüntetések formájában. Franciaország – akárcsak Magyarország – minden ilyen megmozdulást betiltott.

Október 22-én, vasárnap újabb bombafenyegetésről, nyolc napon belül a hetedikről érkezett bejelentés a francia rendőrségre. Kiürítették a Château de Versailles-i kastélyt.
Kétórás ellenőrzés után a kastély végül délután helyi idő szerint fél háromkor újra kinyithatott.

A francia rendőrség könnygázt és vízágyút vetett be Párizsban csütörtökön, hogy feloszlasson egy palesztinokat támogató, betiltott gyűlést.
Gérald Darmanin belügyminiszter csütörtökön beszámolt arról, hogy a Hamász szombati támadása és az izraeli válaszlépés óta Franciaországban „több mint száz antiszemita incidenst” észleltek, amelyek kapcsán 41 embert őrizetbe vettek. A mintegy ötszáz zsidó vallási helyet és oktatási intézményt jelenleg 10 ezer rendfenntartó védi.
Franciaországban él Európa legnagyobb muszlim és zsidó közössége is, Emmanuel Macron államfő arra szólította fel a franciákat, hogy maradjanak egységesek és tartózkodjanak attól hogy hazahozzák az Izrael és a Hamász közti konfliktust.
Párizsban két, csütörtökre tervezett palesztinbarát tüntetést már előre betiltottak a közrendre hivatkozva, majd a belügyminiszter utasította a prefektusokat, hogy országszerte tiltsanak be minden palesztinbarát tüntetést. Ennek ellenére több száz palesztinbarát tüntető gyűlt össze Párizs központjában csütörtök délután.
A tüntetők azt skandálták, hogy „Izrael gyilkos” és „Macron cinkos”. Az államfő korábban határozottan elítélte a Hamász által elkövetett terrortámadásokat, és megerősítette teljes támogatását Izrael iránt.
A Hamász az egész muszlim világban tüntetésekre szólított fel a palesztinok támogatására.
A Gázai övezetet uraló Hamász terrorszervezet fegyveresei múlt szombaton meglepetésszerű támadást indítottak Izrael ellen, betörtek a zsidó állam déli részébe, és több mint 1300 embert meggyilkoltak, további mintegy háromezret megsebesítettek, és körülbelül 150 embert elraboltak, túszként tartanak fogva. A gázai egészségügyi minisztérium arról tájékoztatott, hogy az övezet ellen elindított izraeli hadműveletek halálos áldozatainak száma már meghaladta az 1500-at, a sebesülteké pedig a 6000-et.

Az egészségügyi hatóságok most először rendeltek el rendkívüli szúnyogirtást Párizsban a tigrisszúnyogok miatt, miközben a betegségeket terjesztő rovar a jelek szerint egyre nagyobb területeket hódít meg Európa északi részén, írja a Guardian.
Csütörtökön hajnalban a francia főváros délkeleti részén lakókat arra kérték, hogy maradjanak otthon, és utcákat is lezártak az irtás idejére.

Az esetről több videófelvétel is kering az interneten, az egyiken például azt lehet látni, ahogy a rendőrök fegyvert fognak a sofőrre, majd hallani lehet, ahogy eldördül egy fegyver. A kocsi ezután egy ütközés következtében megállt. Az autót vezető Naël M. meghalt, halálát a mellkasát ért találat okozta.
A lövést leadó rendőrt gyilkosság gyanújával őrizetbe vették.
Francia sajtóértesülések szerint a rendőrök azt gyanították, hogy a tinédzser feléjük hajt az autójával és meg akarja őket sebesíteni. A két egyenruhás megpróbálta megállítani az autót, de nem jártak sikerrel, a fiú pedig nem tett eleget a felszólításnak, így közelről lőttek rá, amikor tovább akart hajtani. Az autóban a sofőrön kívül még ketten ültek: egyiküknek sikerült elszökni a helyszínről, a másik kiskorút azonban letartóztatták.
Az eset után Párizs nyugati oldalán zavargások törtek ki az éjszaka a rendőri erőszak miatt. A tüntetők több autót és kukát is felgyújtottak, emellett a helyi rendőrségnél is tüzet gyújtottak. A hatóságok könnygázzal oszlatták fel a tömeget, akik barikádot is állítottak. A demonstráció során 20 embert vettek őrizetbe.
A francia főváros rendőrfőnöke azt nyilatkozta az esettel kapcsolatban, hogy „a rendőr cselekedete kérdéseket vet fel, majd hozzátette, valószínűleg veszélyben érezte magát, amikor lövést adott le”.
A 17 éves fiú családjának az ügyvédje eközben azt közölte, hogy törvénytelen védekezés történt, és a rendőr „hidegvérrel végzett a fiatal férfival”. A gyászoló család panaszt nyújtott be a rendőrség ellen hazugság miatt, mert először azt állították, hogy a fiú el akart hajtani az autóval.

„Ötödik kerületi lakók, gázrobbanás történt az Alphonse-Laveran téren, épületek égnek, maradjanak távol, hogy a tűzoltók végezhessék a munkájukat!” – írta a Twitteren Edouard Civel alpolgármester.
Laurent Nunes párizsi prefektus a helyszínen arról tájékoztatta a sajtót, hogy a robbanás a Saint-Jacques utca 277-ben történt a Paris American Academy elnevezésű kétnyelvű dizájniskolában, amelynek homlokzata leomlott, majd a tűz átterjedt a szomszédos épületre. A tüzet a tűzoltóknak időközben sikerült eloltaniuk.
A nem végleges információk szerint a robbanásban harmincheten megsérültek, közülük négyen életveszélyes állapotban vannak. Korábban tizenhat sérültről lehetett tudni.

Szemtanúk a francia hírtelevíziókban arról számoltak be, hogy a robbanást megelőzően erős gázszag terjengett a környéken.
A párizsi prefektúra azt kérte mindenkitől, hogy kerüljék el a környéket annak érdekében, hogy a tűzoltóság és a rendőrség végezhesse a munkáját.

Kirabolták az olasz luxusmárka, a Bvlgari párizsi boltját, amely pár méterre az igazságügyi minisztérium épülete mellett található. A rablást fényes nappal, motorosok hajtották végre. Ugyanezt a boltot már 2021-ben is kirabolták, akkor összesen 12 millió euró értékű ékszert vittek el.
A motorral érkező fegyveresek három tagja bement az épületbe, ott a biztonsági őrt leütötték, aki súlyosan megsérült. Amíg a rablás folyt, az egyik ember kint terelte arrébb az utcán elhaladókat a bolt közeléből.
A bolt Párizs belvárosában található, csupán néhány lépésre az igazságügyi minisztérium épületétől, valamint egy híres szállodától, rendőr mégsem volt a környéken a rablás időpontjában.
A rablás csupán néhány percet vett igénybe, majd a motorokra visszaülve elhajtottak a helyszínről az elkövetők. A rendőrök egyelőre nem találták meg őket. Jelenleg a kárról sincs még pontos információ. A rablók leginkább ékszereket és luxusórákat vittek magukkal. A becsült kár több millió eurónak felel meg – közölte az RTL Híradó. A rablásról videó is készült.
