Újabb ukrán állampolgár haláláról számoltak be Izraelben. Eddig három ukrajnai személy vesztette életét az országban.
A hírt Oleh Nyikolenko, az ukrán Külügyminisztérium szóvivőke közölte. Elmondása szerint 9 ukrán állampolgár sérült meg, állapotuk és tartózkodási helyük még tisztázás alatt van. További hat ukránt eltűntnek tekintenek. A diplomaták keresik őket izraeli rendfenntartókkal együttműködve.
A Külügyminisztérium szóvivője szerint az ukrán Külügyminisztérium operatív központja már több mint 1000 fellebbezést dolgozott fel Izraelben és a Gázai övezetben élő ukránoktól. Jelenleg mintegy 700 ukrán nem tudja elhagyni Izraelt a törölt repülőjáratok miatt.

Ismét rakétákkal támadta szerdán Izraelt a libanoni síita Hezbollah.
A fegyveres párt megerősítette, hogy ők követték el a támadást, a szervezet közleménye szerint a nagy pontosságú rakétákkal végrehajtott akció válasz volt az izraeli hadsereg által hétfőn elkövetett támadásra, melyben három Hezbollah-fegyveres életét vesztette.
Libanoni biztonsági források szerint a Hezbollah két precíziós rakétát lőtt ki Izrael irányába. Az izraeli hadsereg csupán annyit közölt, hogy támadás érte a libanoni Dajra településsel szemben lévő, izraeli oldalon található Aramse nevű, zömében beduinok lakta települést.
Libanoni helyszíni beszámolók szerint az izraeli erők válaszul ágyúzták a dél-libanoni Rmeis környékét, biztonsági források pedig hozzátették, hogy találat ért egy rakétaindító állást is Dajránál. Áldozatokról egyelőre nem érkezett hír.
Az Irán támogatását élvező Hezbollah kedden legkevesebb 15 rakétával támadta Izrael északi határvidékét, válaszul az izraeli hadsereg harckocsikból lőtte a szervezet fegyvereseinek két megfigyelőállását.

A Gázai övezetet irányító Hamász szombaton indított támadásában emellett már több mint 3000 izraeli sebesült meg és hivatalosan 50 eltűntről tudni, köztük külföldiekről is.
A The Times of Israel című lap az izraeli egészségügyi minisztériumra hivatkozva azt közölte, hogy 26 sebesült állapota válságos. A hadsereg egyik szóvivője kiemelte, hogy a most közzétett számok vélhetően emelkedni fognak.
A gázai egészségügyi minisztérium közleménye szerint a támadásra adott megtorló akcióknak már legalább 900 halottja van a Gázai övezetben, 4500-an pedig megsebesültek.
Mindeközben szerdára virradóra folytatódtak az izraeli légicsapások az övezet ellen: a hadsereg azt közölte, 24 óra alatt több száz célpontra mért csapást Gázaváros al-Furkán nevű negyedében, mely izraeli sajtóforrások szerint a Hamász fegyvereseinek egyik központja. A Külügyminisztérium azt is közölte, hogy az ukrán nagykövetség hat családnak segített ideiglenes lakhelyet találni Izraelben.
A szóvivő emlékeztetett arra, hogy a diplomaták jelenleg is foglalkoznak azzal az ukrán fiúval, akit tegnap mentettek ki a háborús övezetben. Orvosi kezelésben, pszichológiai támogatásban részesül, és előkészítik a visszatérését Ukrajnába hozzátartozóihoz.

Két ukrán állampolgár halt meg az izraeli harcok következtében, az ukrán diplomaták hivatalosan is megerősítették az információt – közölte vasárnap Oleh Nyikolenko, a Külügyminisztérium szóvivője az rbc.ua hírportállal.
Mint Nyikolenko elmondta: „Megerősítjük az információt, hogy két ukrán állampolgárságú nő életét vesztette Izraelben. Mindketten hosszú ideje éltek az országban. A konzulok biztosítják a szükséges konzuli segítséget, kapcsolatban vannak a hozzátartozóikkal.”
Tegnap Volodimir Zelenszkij elnök azt mondta, hogy egy ukrán nő meghalhatott Izraelben. Az információkat azonban ellenőrizték. Ma délelőtt a Külügyminisztérium arról számolt be, hogy ellenőrzik az ukránok halálával kapcsolatos információkat, és keresnek egy Dél-Izraelben eltűnt állampolgárt is.

A brazil külügyminisztérium közölte, hogy rendkívüli ülésre hívja össze az ENSZ Biztonsági Tanácsát az Izrael elleni támadást követően. A Biztonsági Tanács vasárnap ülésezik.
Brazília, amely jelenleg az ENSZ Biztonsági Tanácsának soros elnökségét tölti be, nyilvánosan elítélte a támadásokat, és támogatásáról biztosította Izraelt. A brazil kormány megismételte a „kétállami megoldás” melletti elkötelezettségét, és kiállt amellett, hogy Palesztina és Izrael kölcsönösen elfogadott és nemzetközileg elismert határokon belül éljen egymás mellett.
A Hamász által indított támadást az elmúlt évek legnagyobb Izrael elleni támadásának tartják. Az agresszióra válaszul Benjámin Netanjahu izraeli miniszterelnök kijelentette, hogy országa háborúban áll, és megtorlást ígért.
A brazil külügyminisztérium hangsúlyozta, hogy nem indokolt az erőszak alkalmazása, különösen a civilek ellen. Sürgette az összes érintett felet, hogy a helyzet további eszkalálódásának megakadályozása érdekében tanúsítsanak maximális önmérsékletet. A minisztérium azt is kijelentette, hogy a konfliktus puszta kezelése nem jelent tartós megoldást az izraeli-palesztin kérdésben, és hangsúlyozta a béketárgyalások megkezdésének sürgősségét.
