Nyolc robbanást jelentettek Homel megyében helyi források éjjel, állítólag a Zjabrovka atonai légibázis területén történtek, mely után tűz ütött ki – számol be Twitteren Franak Viacorka, belarusz ellenzéki politikus.
A fehérorosz védelmi minisztérium szerint baleset történt, melynek semmilyen súlyos következménye nem lett a légibázis működésére nézve. A keletkezett tüzet rövid időn belül sikerült eloltani.
Ez a kijelentés talán azért megkérdőjelezhető, mert az orosz védelmi minisztérium a krími Szaki légibázisnál történt robbanások után azt nyilatkozta, hogy sem személyi, sem anyagi kár nem keletkezett, aztán a műholdas felvételek alapján kiderült, hogy legalább egy tucat katonai repülőgép teljesen kiégett.
Azt nem tudni még, hogy mi történt a Zjabrovka katonai reptéren. Egyes források szerint hadgyakorlat során baleset történt, mások szerint Ukrajna lőtt Fehéroroszország területére, bosszúból azért, hogy a légibázist Belarusz átengedte az orosz légierőnek és stratégiai csapásmérő képességeknek.
Egyik kijelentésről sincs hiteles bizonyíték és magáról a robbanásról sem kerültek még fel felvételek az internetre. Egyelőre érdemes a hírt fenntartásokkal kezelni.

Hosszú börtönbüntetésre ítélték a lengyelországi székhelyű, belarusz nyelvű Belsat televízió újabb újságíróját Belaruszban. Az 52 éves Irina Szlavnyikavát öt év szabadságvesztéssel sújtotta az ország délkeleti részén található Homel város illetékes bírósága szélsőséges szervezet létrehozásának vádjával és engedély nélküli tüntetéseken való részvétel miatt. A belarusz újságírószövetség szerint a törvényszék által megállapított büntetési tétel egy évvel hosszabb, mint amennyit az ügyészség kért. „Az újságírók nem szélsőségesek, a máskéntgondolkodás pedig nem bűn” – olvasható a belarusz újságírószövetség szerdán közzétett állásfoglalásában. „A fehérorosz hatóságok továbbra is üldözik az újságírókat pusztán amiatt, hogy élnek a szólásszabadsághoz való jogukkal” – tette hozzá a jogvédő szervezet.

Kollégája, Darja Csulcova kétéves szabadságvesztését tölti, amelyet 2021-ben szabtak ki rá. Szlavnyikava az utóbbi tíz hónapot hatósági őrizetben töltötte, tavaly októberben állították elő a minszki repülőtéren, miután visszatért vakációjáról. Kezdetben tizenöt nap elzárásra ítélték a Facebook-oldalán közölt „szélsőséges tartalmak” miatt.
Varsóban kedden és szerdán szimpátiatüntetéseket tartottak az újságírók mellett. Az aktivisták szankciókat követeltek azon belarusz hatósági személyek ellen, akik igazságtalanul járnak el az újságírókkal szemben. Az ügyben megszólalt Mateusz Morawiecki lengyel kormányfő is. Facebook-csatornáján azt írta: „az elfogadhatatlan ítéletre” Lengyelország „azonnali, határozott és nemzetközi szintű” választ fog adni, ő maga már ebben az értelemben adott utasítást a varsói külügyminisztériumnak. „A sajtó- és a szólásszabadság, valamint a véleménynyilvánítás korlátlan joga a demokrácia alapja” – olvasható a bejegyzésben. Morawiecki „abszolút botránynak, mindenféle civilizációs szabály, az emberi jogok és az újságírói elvek megsértésének” nevezte Szlavnyikava elítélését.
Belaruszban Aljakszandr Lukasenka 2020 augusztusában nyerte el hatodik elnöki mandátumát. A választások tisztaságát sokan vitatták, és ez több hónapon át tartó tömegtüntetésekhez vezetett. A hatóságok több mint 35 ezer demonstrálót vettek őrizetbe, a rendőrség ezreket bántalmazott. A megtorló intézkedések sorában bezárták a legnagyobb független médiumokat, blokkolták a népszerű hírportálokat, újságíróknál tartottak házkutatásokat és médiamunkásokat vettek őrizetbe.

Plusz 8 év börtönbüntetésre ítélték Kacjarina Andrejeva fehérorosz újságírónőt hazaárulásért, aki két év után idén szeptemberben szabadult volna.
A délkeleti Gomel régió bírósága szerdán ítélte el a Belsat hírügynökség újságíróját. A vád részletei egyelőre nem ismertek, mert a július 4-én kezdődött tárgyalásokat zárt ajtók mögött tartották.
Andrejevát, más néven Bahvalavát és kolléganőjét, Darja Csulcovát 2021 februárjában ítélték két év börtönre, miután „a polgári rend megzavarására irányuló nyilvános rendezvények szervezésével” vádolták őket. 2020 novemberében tartóztatták le őket, amikor egy Raman Bandarenka emlékére tartott minszki tüntetésről tudósítottak.
A két nő visszautasította a vádakat, politikai indíttatásúnak nevezve azokat, azt állítva, hogy újságíróként vettek részt a tüntetésen.

A polgármester jelezte, hogy a város minden kerületében védelmi parancsnokságot hoznak létre, a területvédelmi önkéntes alakulatok tagjainak pedig további kiképzéseket tartanak. „Egyelőre nem állítjuk át őket 24 órás ügyeletre. De ez a döntés bármikor megváltozható” – emlékeztetett.
A városvezető azt is megjegyezte, hogy fontolgatják tartalékos önkéntes zászlóaljak felállítását a városi tanács és a kommunális vállalatok alkalmazottaiból, és folytatják a stratégiai terméktartalékok kialakítását az ellátási útvonalak elzárásának esetére. „Fel kell készülni a hideg télre, és biztosítani kell a fűtés lehetőségét egy gázellátás nélküli városban” – hangsúlyozta Andrij Szadovij, hozzátéve, hogy Lemberg jelenleg biztonságos.

The IAEA has been informed by the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) that the nearby Zaporizhzhya Thermal Power Plant (ZTPP) - whose switchyard helps deliver electricity to the ZNPP - has been under heavy attack this morning.

Az ukrán Védelmi Minisztérium Hírszerzési Igazgatóságának képviselője szerint valószínűtlen az, hogy Minszk támadást tervez Ukrajna ellen, mivel az említett egységekből nem hoztak létre dedikált harccsoportot, valamint a hírszerzés rendelkezésére álló információk szerint kifejezetten inváziós célt szolgáló parancsnoki rendszert sem alakítottak ki az egységek számára.
A képviselő szerint a felvonultatás célja az ukrán erők megosztása, ugyanis Kijev kénytelen elrettentő célzattal egységeket vezényelni északi határához, valamint egyéb erőforrásokat átcsoportosítani a belarusz helyzet folyamatos figyelemmel kísérése érdekében.
Fontos megjegyezni azt, hogy Fehéroroszország nem először hajt végre csapatösszevonást az Ukrajnával közös határszakasz közelében, a rendelkezésre álló információk szerint azonban a február óta tartó harcokban belarusz egységek nem vesznek részt.

A fehérorosz fegyveres erők hadgyakorlatba kezdtek, melyen egy esetleges háborúra készülnek fel.
A hírt az rbc.ua közölte a fehérorosz Védelmi Minisztériumra hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint a képzésben minden katonai alakulat és egység részt vesz, s „a békeidőről háborús időre való átmenet szervezett intézkedéseit” gyakorolják be.

Szvjatlana Cihanovszkaja száműzött fehérorosz ellenzéki vezető egyik tanácsadója, Franak Viacorka a Twitteren hívta fel a figyelmet arra, hogy az Ukrajnával szembeni orosz inváziót ellenző vasúti dolgozók elvágták a vasúti összeköttetést Belarusz és Ukrajna között.
Tekintve, hogy az orosz utánpótlásban kulcsszerepet játszik a vasút, mindez rendkívüli mértékben nehezítheti az északi irányból támadó, Kijev ostromára készülő csapatok helyzetét.

Az ukrán vasút vezetője, Olexander Kamisin szombaton meg is köszönte a fehérorosz dolgozók hősies cselekedetét és megerősítette azt is, hogy jelenleg a két ország között nincs vasúti kapcsolat – írja a Deutsche Welle. Noha a fehérorosz vezető, Alekszander Lukasenko lehetővé tette, hogy Moszkva felvonulási területként használja országát az Ukrajnával szemben indított támadáshoz, csapatokat nem küldött a háborúba, egyes híradások szerint főként azért, mert az zendüléshez vezetett volna hatalmával szemben.
