Az Északnyugat-Ukrajnából származó két fiatal férfi hat hónapja van előzetes letartóztatásban, a hatóságok embercsempészettel gyanúsítják őket. Tavaly szeptemberben tartóztatták le őket, amikor egy vízijárművel albán állampolgárok egy csoportját próbálták Nagy-Britanniába juttatni.
A két gyanúsítottat a bíróság ügyvédjük kérésére engedte szabadon. A testület úgy indokolta a döntést, hogy „a rendkívüli körülmények az előzetes letartóztatás feloldását indokolják, különös tekintettel arra, hogy az ukrán kormány előzőleg minden férfit a haza megvédésére szólított fel.” A bíróság hozzátette, hogy a két gyanúsított ragaszkodik ahhoz, hogy eleget tegyen a felszólításnak, továbbá elengedésükben az a tényező is szerepet játszott, hogy a két férfinak most családja mellett a helye.
A hírportál azt írja, hogy a gyanúsítottaknak jelentkezniük kell a holland hatóságoknál, ha erre utasítást kapnak, és abba is bele kell egyezniük, hogy az esetleg ellenük elindítandó per tárgyalásának lefolytatása után leülik az esetleges büntetést.
A bíróság szóvivője arra a kérdésre, hogy a törvényszéknek milyen biztosítéka van arra, hogy a férfiak az esetleges büntetést le fogják tölteni, azt válaszolta, hogy „azonnal letartóztatják őket, ha megpróbálnak újra Hollandia területére lépni”. Hollandiában az embercsempészetért akár 18 év szabadságvesztés is kiszabható.

Hollandia nagyrészére vörös riasztást adtak ki, a Eunice fennakadásokat okozott a közlekedésben is. A holland vasúttársaság már csütörtökön törölte minden péntek délutáni járatát felkészülve a vihar okozta lehetséges károkra.
Belgiumon 133 kilométer per órás széllökésekkel söpört végig a vihar. Többen megsérültek. Meteorológiai feljegyzések alapján azt mondják, hogy 30 éve nem volt Flandriában ilyen erejű vihar.
A Eunice a Brit-szigetek felől érkezett, Anglia déli részén rekord erejű, 196 kilométer per órás széllökést is mértek. Londonban először adtak ki vörös riasztást. Fennakadások voltak a légi, a vaúti és a közúti közlekedésben is, több tízezer háztartás maradt áram nélkül Angliában és Walesben.
Németország eközben egy másik viharra készült. A Zeynep miatt péntek délután leállították a vasúti közlekedést a Köln-Berlin és a Berlin-Franfurt-Amsterdam vonalon, valamint több helyi járatot is töröltek.

„Egy brutális, elmebeteg pszichopatának tartottam. Hiába próbáltam a lányomat megvédeni tőle. Éva 2019-ben hazajött. Egy ideig nálam lakott, aztán kibérelt egy lakást. A férfi utánajött, megtalálta és nagyon megverte. Hiába tiltották ki Magyarországról, hiába volt vele szemben távoltartási végzés érvényben, semmi sem állította meg. Csakis pszichikai vagy fizikai erőszakkal vehette rá a gyermekemet, hogy ismét kimenjen vele Hollandiába” – fakadt ki István.
Az apa a szíve mélyén sejtette, hogy már nem látja viszont a leányát. „A szülői szív mindent megérez a gyermekével kapcsolatban. Már rég kiutaztam volna, hogy Éva mellett legyek, de a járványhelyzet miatt nem tehettem. Szerettem volna személyesen megkeresni a lányomat” – mondta megtörten a Borsnak.

A hírportál tudósítása szerint a tetőcsomagtartót múlt hét hétfőn vette észre a vízben egy járókelő, aki azonnal értesítette a rendőrséget. A 37 éves áldozatot már jó ideje keresték a rendőrök, mert eltűnt.
A holttest megtalálása után a nő volt férjét, egy 52 éves asseni fogtechnikust pénteken őrizetbe vették. A rendőrség úgy véli, hogy a tetőcsomagtartót ő dobhatta bele a csatornába február 7-én, szombaton. Egy szemtanú arról számolt be, hogy azon az estén egy furgon lámpáit látta világítani a helyszínen, és arra is figyelmes lett, hogy a gépkocsi vezetője a települést átszelő folyó hídjától nem messze egy nagyobb méretű, bőröndnek tűnő tárgyat dob a vízbe.
A hatóságok szerint a 37 éves magyar nő tavaly februárban tűnt el. Édesapja a Dagblad van het Noorden című holland napilapnak azt mondta, hogy a család már 2020-ban bejelentette a nő eltűnését, és a rendőrség most arról tájékoztatta, hogy lánya körülbelül egy hónapja halhatott meg. Az újság szerint a nő prostituáltként dolgozott és kábítószer-kereskedelemmel is foglalkozhatott. A hatóságok egyelőre nem közölték a halál okát.

A BOOS holland Youtube-csatorna csütörtöki epizódjában, számos korábbi női résztvevő beszélt a műsor készítése alatt elszenvedett szexuális zaklatásokról és visszaélésekről. A BOOS-nak névtelenül nyilatkozó egyik fiatal nő, korábbi versenyző, nemi erőszakkal vádolta meg felkészítő mesterét, az országban nagy népszerűségnek örvendő Ali B rappert. A nő bejelentette, hogy feljelentést tesz a zenész ellen. Az ugyancsak közismert Marco Borsato énekesről három nő azt vallotta, hogy még kiskorúak voltak, amikor a férfi „megfogdosta” őket.
Az RTL műsorszolgáltató a tehetségkutató műsort a múlt hétvégén levette a műsorról, miután a zenekar vezetője, Jeroen Rietbergen nyilvánosan bevallotta, hogy „szexuális jellegű” kapcsolatba került néhány, a programban részt vevő nővel. A férfit azzal vádolják, hogy a próbák idején szexuális megjegyzéseket tett, nemi szervéről fotókat küldött nekik. A Rietbergenre vonatkozó panaszok több mint tízéves időszakra terjednek ki, és legalább 19 nőt érintenek.
John de Mol médiavállalkozó, aki 2019-ig a műsor producere volt, megdöbbenését fejezte ki a történtek kapcsán. Ugyanakkor azt is elmondta, hogy tudomása volt egy korábbi esetről, amikor az egyik női résztvevő arról panaszkodott, hogy Rietbergen zaklatja. A zenekarvezetőnek akkoriban kapcsolata volt de Mol húgával, aki azt állítja hogy nem tudott erről az ügyről.
Az RTL felkérte az ügyészséget, hogy vizsgálja ki a bejelentett visszaéléseket.

A kormányfő a médiának adott nyilatkozatában hangsúlyozta: „mindig is harcolni fogok a tüntetés jogáért, ez része demokráciánknak, jogállamiságunknak, de elfogadhatatlan, hogy idióták erőszakot alkalmaznak a rendfenntartók és a mentősök ellen azzal az ürüggyel, hogy elégedetlenek a korlátozó intézkedésekkel”. Hozzátette: az igazságszolgáltatás mindent megtesz annak érdekében, hogy az erőszakos cselekmények mögött állókat felelősségre vonják.
Hollandia a múlt héten ismét részleges zárlatot és egy sor – elsősorban a vendéglátást érintő – korlátozást vezetett be a járvány erősödése miatt. A hágai kabinet azt is tervezi, hogy a nem beoltott emberek számára megtiltja bizonyos helyszínek, köztük éttermek és bárok látogatását. Hétfői értesülések szerint a rendőrség 80 embert – köztük több fiatalt és kiskorút is – letartóztatott, az egyszerre több holland városban tartott tüntetések során, ahol a randalírozók gyújtogattak, több üzlet kirakatát megrongálták, füstbombákat és tűzijátékokat hajítottak a rendfenntartókra. A rendőrség „figyelmeztető lövéseket” adott le, amelyek hét embert sebesítettek meg.
A rendőri szakszervezetek is elítélték a zavargásokat, és azt hangsúlyozták, hogy a rendőrségnek „kíméletlen erőszakkal” kellett szembenéznie.

Vizsgálat folyik annak megállapítására, hogy a rendőrök által leadott lövések találták-e el őket. A sérült randalírozók állapota egyelőre nem nyilvános.
A VoaNews szerint a hatóságok 51 embert vettek őrizetbe, felük kiskorú volt. Hivatalos információk szerint az egyik rendőr lábsérüléssel került kórházba, többen pedig könnyű sérüléseket szereztek.
A biztonsági kamerák videófelvételeit is átnézik, így további letartóztatásokra kell számítani. A helyszínről készült fényképeken látszik, hogy legalább egy rendőrautót felgyújtottak, egy másik szélvédőjén pedig egy kerékpár csapódott be. A rohamrendőrség vízágyú segítségével állította helyre a rendet az utcákon.
A holland kikötőváros polgármestere, Ahmed Abaotaleb „erőszakorgiának” nevezte a történteket.
A rendőrség beismerte, hogy többször is eldördültek a figyelmeztető lövések. Egy ponton a helyzet annyira veszélyessé vált, hogy a rendőrök kénytelenek voltak lőni, mondta az egyik illetékes. Patricia Wessels rendőrségi szóvivő még péntek este azt mondta: „figyelmeztető lövéseket adtunk le, és voltak célzott lövések is, mert a helyzet életveszélyes volt.”
A távirati iroda szerint több százan gyűltek össze, hogy tiltakozzanak a kormány azon terve ellen, amely szerint a fedett szórakozóhelyekre csak azok léphetnek be, akiknek van védettségi igazolványuk. A demonstráció nagyon erőszakossá vált. Emiatt a rendőség azonnal vészintézkedéseket vezetett be a városban, felszólította a lakosokat, hogy hagyják el az utcákat, a tüntetők ellen vízágyúkat és lovas rendőröket vetett be. Az ország más részeiről is vezényeltek Rotterdamba rendőröket. Az összecsapásokban rendőrök is megsebesültek.
A súlyos incidensek hatására Ahmed Aboutaleb rotterdami polgármester szigorúan elítélte az erőszakos tüntetőket, és rendeletet adott ki arról, hogy tilos civileknek tartózkodni a tüntetés helyszínén, a központi és egy másik pályaudvaron. A vasúti közlekedést felfüggesztette a városban. Ez utóbbi korlátozásokat reggel már feloldotta.
Hollandia a múlt hétvégén három hétre újra bevezetett néhány járványügyi korlátozást, hogy lassítsa a koronavírus okozta fertőzés újbóli terjedését, de a napi fertőzések a világjárvány kezdete óta a legmagasabb szinten maradtak.
