Csütörtökön a kelet-afganisztáni Gardez városában gépjárműbe rejtett pokolgép robbant, legalább öt ember meghalt a merényletben. Elkövetőiként a muszlim radikális tálibok jelentkeztek.
A terrorcselekményt két nappal azután követték el, hogy az ország más területén történt merényletekben legalább 56 ember meghalt, köztük nők, és gyerekek is. Az erőszakos cselekmények veszélybe sodorják annak reményét, hogy a tálibok békét tudnak kötni a kabuli kormánnyal.
Emal Hán Momand, a hadsereg szóvivője Paktia tartományban, ahol Gardez is fekszik, arról számolt be, hogy a robbanószereket egy teherautóban rejtették el. Öt ember azonnal meghalt, 14-en megsebesültek.
A merénylet egy katonai bíróság közelében, lakott területen történt – mondta Tarik Arian, a belügyminisztérium szóvivője. A nyilatkozó szerint a tálibokkal és a pakisztáni székhelyű Laskar-e-Taiba (Igazak Hadserege) szélsőséges szervezettel szövetségben álló Hakkani radikális iszlamista csoport követte el a támadást.
A tálibok szóvivője, Zabihullah Mudzsahid közölte, hogy ők állnak a történtek mögött.
Két nappal korábban az afgán fővárosban, egy kórházat ért támadás, 24 civil meghalt. Az intézményben az Orvosok Határok Nélkül (MSF) nevű segélyszervezet szülészeti klinikát működtet. Az áldozatok többsége várandós nő, illetve kismama volt, s a támadók legalább két újszülöttet is agyonlőttek.
Egy másik eset a kelet-afganisztáni Nangarhar tartományban történt, ahol egy temetési menet ellen követtek el merényletet, 32 ember meghalt, további 133 megsebesült. A merénylet elkövetőjeként az Iszlám Állam nevű terrorszervezet jelentkezett.
Asraf Gáni afgán elnök elítélte a támadásokat. Az államfő egyben elrendelte, a hadsereg támadó módra álljon át a védekezőről, amelyet azután rendeltek el, hogy Kabul tárgyalni próbál a tálibokkal, valamint, hogy az Egyesült Államok csapatai kivonására készül.
A tálibok cáfolták, hogy szerepük lett volna az utóbb említett támadásokban. A kabuli kormány viszont azzal vádolta meg őket, hogy táptalajt adnak a terrorizmusnak, valamint más csoportokkal összefogva megpróbálják aláásni az Egyesült Államoknak azt a törekvését, hogy tárgyalóasztalhoz ültesse a felkelőket és az afgán kormányt.

A hoszti rendőrparancsnok, Szaed Ahmad Babazi éppen az ellenség elleni akciót hajtott végre a tartomány nyugati részén, amikor a pokolgép robbanása halálosan megsebesítette helyi csütörtök este – közölte az afganisztáni belügyminisztérium szóvivője, Tarik Arian.
A titkára és az egyik testőre is meghaltak a robbanásban- közölte a tartomány egyik szóvivője. Egy rendőr is súlyosan megsebesült a detonációban. A merénylet elkövetőjeként a tálib szélsőségesek jelentkeztek.
Az Egyesült Államok afganisztáni különmegbízottja, Zalmay Khalilzad csütörtökön azt mondta, egyeztetett a Katarban lévő tálib vezetőkkel az erőszak csökkentéséről és más, a februári amerikai-tálib békeegyezményt érintő ügyekről. Khalilzad a dohai egyeztetések után Pakisztánba és Indiába utazott.
Az amerikai–tálib egyezség a nemzetközi katonai csapatok 14 hónapon belüli kivonását készíti elő Afganisztánból. A tálibok és az afgán biztonsági erők közötti fogolycserén kívül azt remélik, az afgánközi béketárgyalásokhoz vezet majd.
A kabuli kormány nem vett részt az egyeztetésben, mert a tálibok korábban visszautasították, hogy közvetlen megbeszélést folytassanak.
Afganisztánban továbbra is gyakoriak az erőszakos cselekmények. Az Egyesült Államok az afganisztáni újjáépítés amerikai finanszírozását felügyelő washingtoni szervezet (SIGAR) negyedéves jelentése szerint a tálib harcosok az egyezmény óta egyetlen támadást sem indítottak nemzetközi csapatok ellen, az afgán erők ellen viszont igen.

Egy öngyilkos merényletben az afgán fővárostól, Kabultól délnyugatra többen meghaltak és megsebesültek – közölte szerdán Tárik Arján afgán belügyi szóvivő.
A támadó – mint Arján elmondta – civilek között robbantotta fel magát egy településen, Kabultól mintegy 11 kilométerre. A merényletben hárman életüket vesztették és 15-en megsebesültek.
Egyelőre nem tudni, hogy melyik csoport követte el a támadást a muszlim böjti hónap, a ramadán első hetében. Hasonló merényleteket általában az Iszlám Állam nevű terrorszervezet tagjai vagy a kormányellenes, szélsőséges tálibok szoktak végrehajtani Afganisztánban.
Március végén egy kabuli szikh templomot támadtak meg az Iszlám Állam szélsőségesei. A lövöldözésben 25-en életüket vesztették és nyolcan megsebesültek.
A koronavírus sújtotta országban elsődleges cél az erőszak csökkentése, és ezt támogatják az afgán-tálib békéért tett amerikai erőfeszítések is.

Vahída Sakar szerint az áldozatok csütörtök este éppen hazafelé tartottak a támaszpontról, amikor az ismeretlen merénylő tüzet nyitott rájuk.
A kormányellenes tálibok – akik február 29-én békemegállapodást írtak alá Washingtonnal – szóvivőjük útján azt közölték, hogy nem ők követték el a támadást. Az afgán Tolonews című hírportál ezzel szemben Sakarra hivatkozva azt közölte, hogy a támadáshoz a fegyveres táliboknak is „közük van”.
Elkövetőként egyelőre egyetlen csoport sem jelentkezett.
Bagram a legnagyobb amerikai katonai támaszpont Afganisztánban, novemberben Donald Trump amerikai elnök is ellátogatott oda.
Az országban az Iszlám Állam terrorszervezet is jelen van, a csoport fegyveresei többször követtek el merényleteket.

Az Aszlam Faruki néven ismert terroristavezér elfogásáról további részleteket a következő napokban tesz közzé az afgán titkosszolgálat.
Az ENSZ egyik jelentése szerint a Maulavi Abdullah nevet is használó férfi nagyjából egy éve irányította az Iszlám Állam afganisztáni működését.
Az Iszlám Állam 2015-ben jelent meg Afganisztánban, azóta számos támadást hajtott végre elsősorban síita mecsetek ellen, illetve különféle rendezvényeken. Az ENSZ adatai szerint a legtöbb merényletet a kelet-afganisztáni Nangarhar és Kunar tartományban, valamint Kabulban hajtották végre. A terrortámadásaik száma különösen 2018-ban volt magas, azóta csökken.
Az Iszlám Állam tagjaival a tálibok is harcban állnak. Legutóbb a terrorszervezet márciusban egy meghalt síita politikai vezető megemlékezésén, majd egy szikh templomnál hajtott végre támadást, ezekben a merényletekben legalább 55 ember halt meg.

Az afgán belügyminisztérium azt közölte, hogy a biztonsági erők és a támadók között tűzharc bontakozott ki, amely jelenleg is tart. Értesülések szerint a támadók között öngyilkos merénylők is voltak. A Tolonews című afgán hírportál szemtanúkra hivatkozva robbanásokról számolt be.
A támadás elkövetését egyelőre egyetlen csoport sem vállalta magára, ebben a hónapban az Iszlám Állam nevű terrorszervezet fegyveresei már megtámadtak egy kabuli, síiták által szervezett emlékünnepséget, és több mint húsz embert megöltek.
Zabihullah Mudzsáhid, a kormányellenes, fegyveres tálibok egyik szóvivője Twitteren leszögezte: nem ők az elkövetők.
A szunnita többségű Afganisztánban a szikhek – a síitákkal együtt – gyakran válnak diszkrimináció áldozatává. A szélsőséges tálib kormányzat idején sárga karszalag viselésére kötelezték őket, noha a rendelkezés betartását nem ellenőrizték.

Asraf Gáni afgán elnök elrendelte ötezer tálib fogoly szabadon engedését két szakaszban – jelentette be szerdán Szedik Szedikki elnöki szóvivő a Twitteren.

Először 1500 tálib rab nyeri vissza szabadságát. A gesztus célja, hogy lendületet adjon az afgán kormány és a tálibok közötti béketárgyalásoknak – tette hozzá Szedikki.
További 3500 embert azt követően engednek el, hogy megkezdődtek a tárgyalások. Szabadulásuk feltétele, hogy érezhetően csökkenjen az erőszak Afganisztánban.
Az első rabok szombaton hagyhatják el a Parvan börtönt. Ezt követően naponta 100 tálib foglyot engednek el. A kiválasztáskor figyelembe veszik a rab korát, egészségügyi állapotát és a büntetéséből letöltött időt. A foglyok távozáskor írásos nyilatkozatot tesznek arról, hogy nem térnek vissza a harcmezőre.
A második szakaszban – a kabuli kormány és a tálibok közötti béketárgyalások kezdetét követően – kéthetente ötszáz, összesen pedig 3500 embert engednek majd el.
A tálibok azonban az Egyesült Államokkal február 29-én kötött dohai megállapodásban a kabuli kormánnyal folytatandó a béketárgyalások feltételeként szabták meg az ötezer rab szabadságának visszaadását. Cserében ezer afgán fogoly elengedését helyezték kilátásba. Szuhail Sahín, a felkelők politikai szóvivője azt mondta szerdán, hogy nem kerül sor a március 10-ére kitűzött informális találkozóra a kormány képviselőivel, mert nem teljesítették követelésüket. Sahín hangoztatta: a rabok feltételes szabadon engedése szembemegy a dohai megállapodással.
„Világosan le van írva a békeegyezményben, hogy először elengednek ötezer foglyot, aztán kezdődnek meg a tárgyalások” – mondta. Hozzátette, hogy a tálibok nem egyeznek bele a rabok feltételes szabadon engedésébe.
Sahín egyúttal aláhúzta: a szabadon engedett foglyok között kell lenniük azoknak, akiknek neve szerepelt egy amerikai tisztségviselőknek korábban átadott listán. A szóvivő hozzátette: a rabokat egy sivatagban vagy a börtönben kell átadni azt követően, hogy egy tálib bizottság ellenőrizte személyazonosságukat.
Az afganisztáni független emberi jogi bizottság aggodalmát fejezte ki a fogolycsere miatt.
A dohai megállapodás értelmében Washington biztonsági garanciákért cserében beleegyezett abba, hogy az amerikai és a külföldi csapatok először csökkentik, majd teljesen kivonják erőiket Afganisztánból. Az egyezményben egyúttal felszólították az afgánokat a béketárgyalások megkezdésére.

Tálib lázadók helyett kilenc civil halálát okozta egy amerikai dróntámadás péntek este a kelet-afganisztáni Nangarhar tartományban – közölték helyi tisztségviselők.
Az Afganisztánban állomásozó amerikai erők a tálibok ellenőrzése alatt lévő területen akartak végezni lázadókkal, de a két gépjárműben, amelyet célba vettek, nem ők, hanem piknikről hazatérő civilek, köztük egy gyerek utazott. A tálibok egyik szóvivője közölte, hogy a két gépkocsiban tizenegy civil volt. Egy afgán tisztségviselő szerint tálib fegyveresek is voltak a közelben, ellenőrző pontot állítottak fel éppen az úton.
Az amerikai erők egyelőre nem válaszoltak a balul sikerült támadást firtató kérdésre – közölte a dpa hírügynökség. Az afgán védelmi minisztérium vizsgálatot indított.
Az északi Tahár tartományban viszont az afgán hadsereg légiereje megölt hét tálibot – köztük két helyi parancsnokot – péntek éjjel. A támadásban további három tálib megsebesült – közölték tisztségviselők.
A tálibok a héten ultimátumban követeltek választ az Egyesült Államoktól arra a javaslatukra, amely szerint egy hétnapos időszakra csökkentenék a harci cselekményeket Afganisztánban. Azzal fenyegették az amerikai felet, hogy máskülönben felhagynak a tárgyalásokkal. A felajánlott időszak azért ilyen rövid, mert nem akarják elkötelezni magukat egy hivatalos tűzszünet mellett, amíg a végső megállapodás többi elemét a felek nem rendezték.
Mark Esper amerikai védelmi miniszter csütörtökön közölte, hogy tárgyalnak a hétnapos ajánlatról. Az AFP hírügynökség úgy értesült, hogy a megállapodás már meg is született, de egyelőre nem lehet tudni, mikor kezdődik a szóban forgó hét nap.

Az erős havazás és a lavinák legalább 21 ember életét követelték Afganisztánban az utóbbi öt napban – közölték a helyi hatóságok csütörtökön.
A halottak között van egy hatfős család is, amelynek házát lavina sodorta el a közép-afganisztáni Dajkundi tartományban.Egy nő és csecsemője pedig egy úton vesztették életüket,miután egy hóviharban rekedtek.
A kabuli katasztrófavédelmi hivatal egyik tisztségviselője szerint 26 ház részben vagy egészében összedőlt az ítéletidő következtében. A tartomány legsúlyosabban érintett részében mentési munkálatokat indítottak.Számos út napok óta járhatatlan, az emberek orvosi ellátása egyelőre nem lehetséges.A hatóságok felszólították az embereket, hogy egyelőre ne tegyenek felesleges utakat a tartományban.
Nincs elegendő felszerelés és ember a mentéshez
Afganisztánban minden télen több tucat ember veszti életét az erős havazások miatt.
A hóomlásokat követően pedigtöbbnyire nem áll rendelkezésre megfelelő felszerelés és elegendő ember a mentési munkálatokhoz.Tovább nehezíti a helyzetet, hogy a konfliktus sújtotta ország egyes térségei egyébként is nehezen közelíthetőek meg.
