A Kijevi Kosárlabda Szövetség tájékoztatása szerint a fiú február 10-én, szombaton este egy támadás következtében halt meg. Volodimir Jemakov és barátja, Artem Kozacsenko a düsseldorfi „ART Giants” (U–19) ifjúsági csapatban játszott.
A meccs előestéjén a fiatal kosarasokat késsel támadták meg az utcán, csak mert ukránok. Az egész csapat a kórházban töltötte az éjszakát a fiaink mellett. Sajnos az orvosok nem tudták megmenteni Jermakovot, Kozacsenkót intenzív osztályon ápolják – írták. A rendőrség továbbra is nyomoz az ügyben.

New York rendőrfőnöke közölte, hogy a támadó két kiérkező rendőrt konyhakéssel sebesítette meg, akik ezt követően lelőtték. A rendőrök egyikét mellkasán, a másikat fején sebezte meg, sérüléseik nem súlyosak, ugyanakkor egy további embert, egy 61 éves nőt súlyos állapotban szállítottak kórházba.
A feltételezések szerint a 38 éves férfi az áldozatok rokona volt, aki a kora reggeli órákban jelent meg a lakóháznál Queens legdélebbi, Far Rockaway negyedében.
Jeffrey Maddrey rendőrfőnök helyi idő szerint reggel tartott sajtótájékoztatóján beszámolt arról, hogy az erőszakos incidensben egy 11 éves lány, egy 12 éves fiú, egy 44 éves nő, és egy 30-as éveiben járó férfi halt meg.
A tájékoztatás szerint a támadásról egy fiatal nő értesítette a rendőrséget kora reggel, aki azt mondta, hogy az unokatestvére gyilkolta meg családjának tagjait.
A gyanúsítottat a rendőrök a ház közelében találták meg, aki egy bőrönddel a kezében próbálta elhagyni a környéket. Miután a járőrök néhány kérdést feltettek, kiderült, hogy a tettesről van szó, aki ekkor húzta elő a nála lévő kést.
A négy halott egyikét a rendőrök az épület előtt találták meg, a többit a házban. A hatóság kiérkezésekor a lakóház nappali szobája lángokban állt, amit a tűzoltók viszonylag gyorsan megfékeztek, a többi áldozatra ezt követően bukkantak rá – hangzott el a bűncselekményről szóló sajtóértekezleten.
A rendőrfőnök hozzátette, hogy a tüzet is a támadó okozta, aki egy bútort gyújtott meg. A eddigi feltételezések szerint családi tragédia történt, de az eset vizsgálata még tart.

Rendőrök elektromos sokkolóval ártalmatlanították és a helyszínen őrizetbe vették – közölte Gérald Darmanin belügyminiszter. Először a bűnügyi rendőrség indított vizsgálatot gyilkosság és gyilkossági kísérlet miatt, majd a terrorelhárítási ügyészség vette magához az ügyet – írja a Magyar Nemzet.
Az elkövető a 26 éves Armand R, Párizs egyik elegáns elővárosában, Neuilly-sur-Seine-ben született francia állampolgár, pszichológiai problémákkal küzd, radikális iszlamista nézetei miatt szerepel a titkosszolgálatoknak az állambiztonságra veszélyes személyekről vezetett nyilvántartásában.
Még 2016-ban négy évre elítélték egy merényletterv miatt, szabadulása óta a titkosszolgálatok megfigyelése alatt állt – mondta a helyszínen a belügyminiszter.
Az áldozat egy német állampolgárságú férfi, aki turistaként tartózkodott a francia fővárosban.
A támadáskor a feleségével és barátjával volt, ők nem sebesültek meg a merényletben. A két sérült egy hatvanas éveiben járó francia és egy külföldi turista, utóbbi állampolgársága nem ismert, nincsenek életveszélyben – írja a Magyar Nemzet.
A rendőrség szerint a letartóztatásakor a merénylő azt mondta, nem bírta elviselni, hogy muzulmánokat ölnek szerte a világon.
„Azt tudom, hogy azt mondta, hogy Allah akbar. Állítólag a taxisofőrnek mondta, aki közbe akart avatkozni, és állítólag a rendőröknek is mondta” – fogalmazott a belügyminiszter, aki szerint az elkövető a rendőröknek arról is beszélt: „dühös amiatt, ami Gázában történik, Franciaország bűnrészes abban, amit Izrael tesz, és elege van abból, hogy muszlimok halnak meg”.
A tárcavezető azt is mondta, hogy a merénylő a szüleivel él, és pszichiátriai kezelés alatt áll.
Nem engedünk a terrorizmusnak. Soha – írta az X-en Élisabeth Borne francia miniszterelnök, aki támogatásáról biztosította a sérülteket és hozzátartozóikat, valamint köszönetét fejezte ki a rendfenntartó erőknek és a mentősöknek a bátorságukért és a professzionalizmusukért.

A rendőrség pénteki sajtótájékoztatóján elhangzottak szerint egy rendőr súlyosan megsérült, a letartóztatott személyek száma pedig már elérte a 34-et.
A sajtótájékoztatót tartó Drew Harris rendőrtiszt azt is elmondta, hogy továbbra is fokozott rendőri jelenlét van a városban, hiszen az ír gárdisták további erőszakos tüntetéshullámokra számítanak.
A rendőrtiszt arról is beszámolt, hogy a tüntetők 11 üzletben, 11 rendőrautóban, 3 buszban és egy villamosban okoztak jelentősebb kárt.
Az eseményekre reflektálva azt mondta, hogy ami történt, az „rendkívüli” volt, hozzátéve, hogy ilyen jelenetekre „évtizedek óta nem volt példa”.
Az ír igazságügyi miniszter, Helen McEntee csütörtökön „tűrhetetlennek” nevezte a jeleneteket, és azt mondta, hogy „nem szabad megengedni, hogy egy gengszter és manipulatív csoport egy megdöbbentő tragédiát használjon fel a pusztításra”.
Az erőszakos tüntetések azután törtek ki, hogy öt ember, köztük három gyermek megsérült egy késes támadásban kedden Dublin belvárosában. Nem megerősített hírek szerint a késes támadó algériai migráns volt – számolt be róla a Daily Mail.
Az információt hivatalosan még nem erősítették meg. Korábban a rendőrség azt közölte, hogy a támadást – amely egy katolikus iskola közelében történt – egy 50 év körüli férfi követte el.
A rendőrség elszigetelt esetként kezeli az incidenst, kizárva a terrorcselekmény lehetőségét – közölték az ír hatóságok. A támadás Dublin sétálóutcája mellett, a Parnell térnél történt. A hatóságok jelenleg az elkövető indítékát vizsgálják.
Leo Varadkar ír miniszerelnök bejelentette: a rendőrség őrizetbe vette a feltételezett elkövetőt. „Mindnyájunkat megdöbbentett a Parnell térnél történt eset” – írta közleményében a kormányfő.
Egy, az RTE ír közmédiának nyilatkozó szemtanú elmondta, hogy az út túloldalán egy férfi kezét lendítve, „szúró mozdulatra” készült. Amikor közelebb ért, két leszúrt gyereket látott. Egy másik szemtanú egy kislányt látott a földön fekve, körülötte sikoltoztak és sírtak.
A rendőrség szerint egy ötéves kislány, egy 30 év körüli nő és egy 50 év körüli férfi szenvedett súlyos sérüléseket.
A kislányt sürgősségi orvosi ellátásban részesítették. Egy ötéves fiú – akit azóta már kiengedtek a kórházból – és egy hatéves kislány pedig enyhébb sérüléseket szenvedett.
A tájékoztatás szerint csütörtök este egy kisebb bevándorlásellenes csoport jelent meg a támadás helyszínén és összecsapott a rendőrökkel. A mintegy 2-300 főre duzzadó tömeg – melyben az ír zászlók mellett „Az ír életek számítanak” feliratú táblák is megjelentek”– autókat gyújtott fel, kirakatokat tört be, üzleteket rabolt ki, továbbá a közeli éttermekből felkapott székeket és asztalokat hajigálva rátámadt a kiérkező rendőrökre.
A zavargások megfékezésére mintegy 400 rendőrt mozgósítottak, és kordonnal vonták körbe az ír parlament épületét is. Patrick McMenamin főfelügyelő csak az éjszakai órákban jelentette be az X közösségi oldalon, hogy a rendbontásoknak sikerült véget vetni.
