A kiadvány helyszíni tudósítása szerint a szélsőséges aktivisták Szternenko 26. születésnapja alkalmából tartottak tüntetést, bebörtönzött társuk szabadon bocsátását követelve Volodimir Zelenszkij elnöktől és Arszen Avakov belügyminisztertől. A tiltakozó megmozdulás egy idő után tömeges zavargásba csapott át, amelynek során a randalírozók festékkel öntötték le az Elnöki Hivatal épületének falait, petárdákat és fáklyákat dobáltak rá. Ugyancsak betörték az épület ablakait. A falra a többi között az elnökre nézve sértő „balek” (loh) és az „Avakov – ördög” szavakat firkálták.
Médiabeszámolók szerint az épületet védő rendőrök láthatóan nem akartak erélyesen beavatkozni, csak egyszer volt egy erőtlen próbálkozásuk a randalírozók visszaszorítására, hiába dobálták őket is a radikálisok. Mindazonáltal egy tüntetőt kiemeltek és előállítottak. Feltűnő volt, hogy a tiltakozók nem hatoltak be az épületbe, noha a bejárat védtelen volt. A nacionalisták akciója után Anton Herascsenko belügyminiszter-helyettes közösségi oldalán azzal magyarázta a rendőrség tartózkodó magatartását, hogy nem akartak erőszakot provokálni.

A koronavírus-járvány visszaszorítását célzó intézkedések ellen tiltakozva tüntetők gyűltek össze vasárnap délután Hága belvárosában, a rohamrendőrök vízágyút és gumibotot is használtak a megmozdulás résztvevőinek oszlatására – közölte a helyi média vasárnap.
A tüntetést azután oszlatták fel, hogy a mintegy kétezer résztvevő közül sokan megsértették az érvényes rendkívüli intézkedéseket, köztük a biztonságos távolságtartásra vonatkozó szabályokat, továbbá figyelmen kívül hagyták a távozásra felszólító rendőrségi figyelmeztetést. Az oszlatást az is indokolta, hogy a megmozdulásra a megengedettnél több száz fővel többen érkeztek – közölték. Médiabeszámolók szerint több Hágába tartó vonatot is leállítottak, hogy megakadályozzák további tüntetők csatlakozását a megmozduláshoz. Noha a tiltakozás békés volt, egy férfit már a tüntetés elején előállítottak, aki bottal támadt a rendőrökre.
Az elmúlt hetekben több kisebb létszámú, a járványintézkedések ellen szervezett megmozdulást tartottak holland városokban, ezeket a távozásra való felszólítás megtagadása miatt a rohamrendőrök szintén gumibottal oszlatták fel – emlékeztettek.
A helyi közegészségügyi hatóság vasárnapi tájékoztatása szerint az elmúlt 24 órában 6012 új koronavírusos fertőzöttet jegyeztek fel, ami ugyan hét százalékkal elmarad az előző nap adataihoz képest, ám 32 százalékkal magasabb a múlt hétvégi adatoknál. A hét folyamán átlagosan 5356 ember szervezetében mutatták ki a koronavírust. Kórházban jelenleg 1922 embert ápolnak, 47-tel többet, mint szombaton. Intenzív ellátásban 554-en részesülnek. A héten átlagosan naponta 34 ember halt meg a vírus szövődményeiben, ez az adat 13 százalékkal kevesebb, mint az előző héten. A járvány kezdete óta 1 157 192 ember tesztje bizonyult pozitívnak Hollandiában és 16 069-en haltak meg a vírus okozta betegségben.
Hollandiában parlamenti választásokat tartanak hétfőtől. Az előrejelzések szerint a szerdán záródó voksoláson a január középén lemondott, azóta ügyvivői feladatokat ellátó Mark Rutte kormányfőt újra megválasztják a holland szavazók.

Rendőrökkel csaptak össze vasárnapra virradóan a sziléziai Rybnik városában a koronavírus-járvány miatt hozott intézkedések ellenére megnyitott klub vendégei, a razzia során a hatóság könnygázt vetett be, három embert őrizetbe vett – közölte a lengyel média.
A járványügyi szabályok ellenére működő rybniki szórakozóhely bezárását az egészségügyi felügyelet rendelte el már múlt hét végén, amikor a klub szintén vendégeket fogadott. Miután ezen a szombaton a klub újból megnyílt, a hatósági döntést rendőrségi kísérettel hajtották végre.

Rendőrségi közlemény szerint a szórakozó vendégek egy része a felhívásra elhagyta a helyiséget, egy részük azonban nem volt erre hajlandó. A klub előtt később több százan gyűltek össze, sokan szájmaszk nélkül, ittas állapotban. A tömeg különféle tárgyakkal dobálta meg a rendőröket. A mintegy 150 beavatkozó rendőr könnygázt, gumibotot, villanógránátot vetett be, gumilövedékkel figyelmeztető lövéseket is leadtak. A helyszínen három férfit őrizetbe vettek, 213 embert igazoltattak.
A lengyel kormány csütörtökön február 14-ig meghosszabbította a járvány miatt életbe léptetett korlátozások – ezen belül a szórakozóhelyek, az éttermek, az edzőtermek, a sportintézmények, a sípályák bezárásáról szóló intézkedések – többségét. Február 1-jétől csak a bevásárlóközpontok és kulturális létesítmények újranyitását engedélyezték, valamint törölték az idősek vásárlási sávját.
Az év elejétől a sajtó többször is beszámolt olyan lengyelországi vállalkozókról, amelyek a korlátozások ellenére folytatják vendéglátói tevékenységüket, szórakozóhelyeket, éttermeket nyitnak ki, esküvői lakomákat rendeznek. Az ilyen esetekben 30 ezer zlotyiig terjedő bírság szabható ki.

A koronavírus-járvány miatt bevezetett, a vállalkozásokat érintő korlátozások ellen tüntettek vasárnap a budapesti Hősök terén. A tiltakozást a Facebookon szervezték.
Az interneten megjelent fotók alapján körülbelül pár százan gyűlhettek össze a Hősök terén, a többség maszkot viselt. Az eseményen nagy volt a rendőri készültség, többeket igazoltattak is.
A Budapesti Rendőr-főkapitányság pénteken a rendőrség honlapján azt közölte, hogy egy magánszemély gyűlést jelentett be vasárnap 12 órától a Hősök terére, de később a gyűlést lemondta.
A „Tüntetés az életért és a szabadságért január 31. Tömeges Üzletnyitás február 1.” címmel meghirdetett Facebook-esemény szervezői erről azt írták: úgy fogalmazták át az eseményt, hogy az ne minősüljön gyűlésnek. Az eseményen „a szabad véleménynyilvánítás jogával élők elképzelhetően nem fognak egyetérteni azzal, hogy a kormány nem engedélyezi a vállalkozók szabad nyitvatartását, és nem tesz lépéseket a felelőtlen politika miatt csőd szélére került honfitársaink megsegítésére” – írták.
A rendőrség még pénteken felhívta a figyelmet arra, hogy a veszélyhelyzet idején alkalmazandó védelmi intézkedések második üteméről szóló kormányrendelet értelmében „rendezvényt, valamint gyűlést szervezni, tartani, annak helyszínén tartózkodni tilos”.

A tiltakozók között voltak a Nők Sztrájkja nevű feminista mozgalom vezetői is. A mozgalom tavaly ősszel tömeges tüntetéseket szervezett az abortusztörvényre vonatkozó alkotmánybírósági határozat után. A feministák, antifasiszták, LMBTQ-aktivisták, valamint a koronavírus-járvány visszaszorítását célzó korlátozások által sújtott vállalkozók részvételével zajló tüntetésen mindenekelőtt az ellen tiltakoztak, hogy a kormányzó Jog és Igazságosság párt módosítaná a pénzbírságokról szóló, jelenleg parlamenti munkálatok alatt álló törvényt.
A rendőrség által többek között a rendzavarásért kiszabott helyszíni bírságot az érintett személy – a jelenlegi szabályozástól eltérően – nem utasíthatná el, az csak egy általa kezdeményezett bírósági eljárás keretében lenne megváltoztatható. A tiltakozók csoportjai a parlamenti épületegyüttes közelében, valamint több belvárosi útkereszteződésen gyűltek össze, doboltak, európai uniós, valamint a melegjogi mozgalmat jelképező zászlókat lengettek. Az egyik forgalmas fővárosi csomóponton – a Dmowski köröndön – össze is csaptak az útjukat eltorlaszoló rendőrséggel. Különféle tárgyakkal dobálták a rendfenntartókat, könnygázt is használtak.
