Nyolc ember vettek őrizetbe az ukrán hatóságok, mert egy gosztomeli ház faláról ellopták a brit graffitiművész, Banksy alkotását.



Kijev megye kormányzója közölte: a 27 és 60 év közötti gyanúsítottak Kijevben és Cserkaszijban élnek. Olekszij Kuleba Telegram-bejegyzésében hozzátette, a kép már a hatóságok birtokában van. A kormányzó szerint a műalkotás jó állapotban van.



A gázmaszkot és hálóruhát viselő, kezében egy poroltót tartó alakot ábrázoló graffiti pénteken tűnt el a belarusz határhoz közeli Gosztomel városából.



A brit graffitiművész november közepén egy Instagramra feltöltött videóban mutatta meg az Ukrajnában készült falfestményeit. A videóban a gosztomeli ház falát díszítő gázmaszkos kép is látható.



November elején több alkotása jelent meg Kijevben és a környező városokban. A képek többek között egy kádban ülő szakállas embert és egy karatés fiút, aki éppen legyőzte felnőtt ellenfelét.



Bucsa és Irpiny mellett Gosztomel és Borogyanka városait érte a legtöbb orosz tüzérségi támadás Ukrajna északi részén.
