Szándéka az volt, hogy ezzel is bebizonyítsa: a folyó vize tiszta, fogyasztásra alkalmas. Nem sikerült neki.
A videó tanúsága szerint is bizonytalan színű víz megivása után közvetlenül még nem voltak panaszai a politikusnak. Indiai források szerint Bhagwant Mann szerdán még nem hagyhatta el a kórházat.
