A jelentés szerint a megszállt Donyeck Teksztilnik piaca tűz alá került. A szemtanúk nagyszámú halottról és sebesültről számoltak be. „Előzetes adatok szerint Kirov kerület Teksztilnik piacának barbár ágyúzása következtében 8 ember meghalt” – írta Olekszij Kulemzin, Donyeck úgynevezett „polgármestere” a Telegram-csatornáján. Időközben a helyszínről már 13 halottról érkeznek jelentések.
A hírportál szerint a megszállóknak már sikerült megvádolniuk az ukrán hadsereget a piac lövetéséről. A közösségi oldalakon videót tettek közzé a donyecki piacon történ becsapódás pillanatáról.
Mint a kiadvány emlékeztetett rá, az ideiglenesen megszállt Donyecket gyakran támadják tüzérséggel. „A betolakodók maguk támadják meg a várost. Például 2023. szeptember 1-jén több mint 10 ember megsérült és egy 6 éves kislány meghalt a 2014 óta orosz megszállás alatt lévő Donyeck elleni támadás következtében. Néhány napon belül Donyeck városközpontja ágyúzás alá került. Akkor néhány napon belül többször került tűz alá a milliós város központja” – írta az ukrán internetes híroldal.
