A Rahói járásban egy rendőr szolgálati kutyájával, valamint egy tűzoltóval segített hazajuttatni egy 75 éves férfit, aki gombaszedés közben eltévedt az erdőben. A férfi életét és egészségét már semmi sem fenyegeti.
Szeptember 26-án éjjel a rahói járási rendőrség munkatársai bejelentést kaptak egy 45 éves férfitól, miszerint 75 éves édesapja szeptember 25-én dél körül kiment a közeli erdőbe gombát szedni, és azóta nem tért haza.
Az eltűnt férfi keresésére azonnal elindultak a rendőrök, valamint egy tűzoltó és önkéntes lakosok is. Hajnalra, 5 kilométerre a falutól megtalálták a nyugdíjast.
A férfi egészségi állapota kielégítő, a rendőrök biztonságban hazakísérték.
A hírt a megyei rendőrség kommunikációs osztálya közölte.
Sajtóértesülések szerint szerdán eltűnt a radarokról egy Cessna 402 típusú kisrepülőgép Kolumbia északkeleti részén. Az ország polgári légi közlekedési hatóságának tájékoztatása szerint a gép fedélzetén tíz ember tartózkodott, köztük a legénység tagjai.
A repülőgép a Csendes-óceántól indult és a Juradó-Medellín útvonalon haladt. A kapcsolat azonban megszakadt, amikor a gép Medellíntől körülbelül 120 kilométerre, Urrao térségében járt. A hatóságok azonnal megkezdték a keresési és mentési műveleteket.

A vegyi anyag eltűnését még április végén észlelték, két héttel azután, hogy elhagyta a robbanószer-gyártó üzemet Wyoming államban, és május 10-én jelentették be a környezeti veszélyhelyzetek kezelésével foglalkozó szövetségi központnál (National Response Center).
A vasúti kocsiban szállított ammónium-nitrát úticélja Kaliforniában a Mojave-sivatag volt, ott fedezték fel az eltűnést is, amikor kinyitották. A hivatalos iratok szerint a vasúti kocsi zárja látszólag érintetlen volt, amikor elérte a rendeltetési helyet.
A vizsgálatot a szövetségi vasúti hatóság (Federal Railroad Administration), a kaliforniai közszolgáltatások bizottsága (California Publis Utilities Commission), a Union Pacific vasúttársaság és a gyártócég, a Dyno Nobel közösen folytatja.
A vállalat közleménye szerint elképzelhető, hogy a vasúti kocsi alsó kieresztő-nyílásán keletkezett résen keresztül szállítás közben szóródott ki a teljes szállítmány. Egyelőre semmi nem utal arra, hogy a vegyi anyagot szándékosan távolították volna el és amennyiben fokozatosan, kis mennyiségekben szóródott ki és került a környezetbe, az nem jelent kockázatot a lakosságra, sem a vasúti közlekedésre – közölte a robbanószer-gyártással foglalkozó cég.
Az okok pontos kiderítésére a vasúti szerelvény teljes útvonalát átvizsgálják.
Az ammónium-nitrát műtrágyaként robbanószerként egyaránt használható. 1995-ben ezt használták az Oklahoma City-ben elkövetett merénylet során, amelyben 168 ember meghalt, 2020-ban pedig ammónium-nitrát robbanása okozta a bejrúti kikötői detonációt is, amely 218 ember halálát okozta és megsemmisítette Libanon gabonakészleteinek nagy részét.
