 Egy munkás, aki a miami Key Biscayne partján dolgozott, a jelentések szerint még kedden fedezte fel a fejet. A rendőrség közölte, hogy lezárták a helyszínt és nyomozást indítottak.
 A jelentések szerint a fej úgy tűnt, hogy egy férfitól származik, de a rendőrök nem erősítették meg a részleteket – írja a  Sky News.

 A Miami-Dade rendőrségi nyomozója azt mondta, hogy nem találtak más emberi maradványokat, és hozzátette:
 Nem tudtuk pontosan meghatározni, hogyan vált el a fej a testtől, de van néhány elmélet arra vonatkozóan.
 A rendőrök elmondták, hogy a felfedezés egy lakások közelében található strandrészen történt.
