Egy ukrán harci drón tévedésből Észtország területére zuhant – közölték kedden a balti ország hatóságai.
Margo Palloson, az észt biztonsági rendőrség vezetője Tallinnban nyilatkozva elmondta, hogy az incidens még vasárnap reggel történt. „Ukrán drón volt, amely orosz célpontokat támadott. Nincs arra utaló bizonyíték, hogy orosz drón lenne” – ismertette az ERR észt rádiónak nyilatkozva.
Ez volt az első ilyen jellegű incidens Észtország területén. Az ukrán hadsereg szombat este indított támadást a Balti-tenger partján található Uszt-Luga orosz olaj- és gázterminál ellen az észt határ közelében. Hétfőn Tartu megyében egy farmer talált rá a pilóta nélküli szerkezetre a földjén, és volt egy egyértelműen kivehető robbanási kráter is – közölte Palloson, hozzátéve, hogy a drónt orosz elektronikus zavarás téríthette el.

Az Állami Ügyészség vezette Központi Bűnügyi Rendőrség nyomozást folytatott, amelynek során megállapították, hogy ugyanez az egység 2020-ban támadásokat hajtott végre észt állami intézmények ellen.

A kémkedési ügyek elszaporodtak az utóbbi években Oroszország és a nyugati államok között, az ukrán válság és a dél-ukrajnai Krím félsziget 2014-es orosz bekebelezése óta egyre növekszik a feszültség a felek között.

Észtország újra szigorított intézkedéseket vezetett be az ország területén a koronavírus-járvány megfékezése érdekében, melyek február 22-től lépnek érvénybe.
A kormány elmondása szerint muszáj visszaszorítani a vírus terjedését, mivel az elmúlt héten jelentőset nőtt a betegek és a kórházban kezelt személyek száma.

A következő héttől Észtország bezárja iskoláit és felsőoktatási intézményeit a koronavírus-helyzet miatt – közölte az ERR.
Az információk szerint a tanintézmények december 14. és január 4. között zárva lesznek, ezalatt az idő alatt az oktatási folyamat csak távoktatásban folyhat. Az óvodák továbbra is működhetnek.
Amennyiben a járványhelyzet az országban nem javul, az intézkedéseket január 4. után is folytatják.
