Többen megsérültek egy közép-svájci faluból induló hőlégballonban, amikor az szombaton reggel felszállás közben kigyulladt és alacsony magasságból a földre zuhant – közölték a helyi hatóságok.
Zug kanton hatóságai szerint hét ember – négy nő és három férfi – tartózkodott a hőlégballon kosarában a Zürichtől délnyugatra fekvő Hünenberg faluban. A 28 és 62 év közötti sérültek közül két nő és egy férfi súlyosan megsérült, míg a másik négy utas könnyebb sérüléseket szenvedett.
A közlemény szerint a mentőszolgálat és magánszemélyek segítségével szállították kórházba a sérülteket, miközben a tűzoltók gyorsan eloltották a lángokat. A balesetet okozó tűz oka egyelőre ismeretlen.

Két nap után sikerült megmenekülnie egy kínai férfinak, aki fenyőmaggyűjtés közben elvesztette uralmát hidrogénballonja fölött, amellyel a magas fákon dolgozott, és több száz kilométerre elsodródott.
A kínai állami média szerint a Hu nevű férfi és társa vasárnap gyűjtött fenyőmagot Hejlungcsiang tartomány egy erdős vidékén. Mikor a ballon elszabadult, a társa még le tudott ugrani róla, de Hu már nem, és mintegy 320 kilométert sodródott, mire megtalálták.
A férfival hétfőn a mobiltelefonján tudtak kapcsolatot teremteni a mentők, akik arra utasították, hogy lassan engedje le a léggömböt, hogy biztonságosan le tudjon szállni. A művelet egy napba tellett, és végül Fangcseng régióban ért földet.
A férfi megmenekülése után elmondta, hogy jól van, csak a háta fájdult meg, valószínűleg attól, hogy egész idő alatt állnia kellett. A helyi hatóságok szerint a negyvenes éveiben járó Hu egy kórházban lábadozik – adta hírül az MTI.
A fenyőmaghoz a fenyőtobozokból lehet hozzájutni. Számos étel készül fenyőmaggal Kína korábban Mandzsúriának nevezett északkeleti országrészében.
A CNN online kiadása szerint az utóbbi években egyre jobban elterjedt Kínában a hidrogén- vagy héliumos léggömbök használata a fenyőmag gyűjtésére. Korábban is előfordult már, hogy a ballonnal elsodródtak, de nem ilyen hatalmas távolságra, mint Hu.
A fenyőmaggyűjtők Kínában hagyományosan szöges cipővel másznak fel az akár 20 méter magas fákra. De a gyűjtés így is veszélyes vállalkozás.

Utasokkal együtt lezuhant egy kosaras léggömb szombaton a Hmelnickij megyei Kamjanec-Pogyilszkijban, ahol léggömbfesztivált tartottak, a balesetben egy ember meghalt, öten megsérültek – adta hírül az rbc.ua hírportál szombaton a megyei rendőrség sajtószolgálatára hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint a szerencsétlenség este 20:45 órakor történt Kamjanec-Pogyilszkij határában. A léggömb kosarában a kezelőn kívül öt kiránduló volt, két férfi Hemlnickijből, egy házaspár Prilukiból és egy Kamjanec-Pogyilszkij-i járási lakos.
A léggömb földbe csapódásakor egy 53 éves priluki lakos életét vesztette, a felesége és a többi utas, valamint a 28 éves kijevi léggömbkezelő különböző súlyosságú sérüléseket szenvedtek. Valamennyiüket kórházba szállították.
A rendőrség a baleset ügyében a légi közlekedés szabályainak megsértése címén indított büntetőeljárást.

Hétfőn az Egyesült Államok-beli Wyoming államban három városnéző hőlégballon csapódott a földbe. A Fox Newsnak az egyik utas mesélt részletesen a balesetről, amelyben legalább húszan megsérültek.
„Alig hittem el, milyen gyönyörű a táj, néhány perccel később azonban már a pokolban voltunk” – mondta a hétfői baleset egyik sérültje, Clinton Phillips.
A férfi a feleségével és három gyerekükkel szállt fel az egyik hőlégballonra, amely később a földbe csapódott. Azt mondta, a gyerekek könnyebb sérülésekkel megúszták, a felesége viszont bordasérülést szenvedett.
A 12 éves Robert Krayevski azt mondta, ő is a családjával utazott, amikor a hőlégballonjuk irányíthatatlanná vált. „A kapitányunk leesett, mi pedig a hőlégballonban maradtunk. Lentről ordított nekünk, hogy húzzuk meg a piros színű kötelet. Felborultunk, és gyorsan elfutottunk, mert féltünk, hogy felrobban” – emlékezett.
Hogy mi okozta a balesetet, egyelőre vizsgálják. A seriff szerint nem ütköztek egymásnak, valószínűleg egy erősebb széllökés miatt váltak irányíthatatlanná a hőlégballonok.
