Azzal vádolnak egy 90 éves nőt, hogy egy serpenyővel agyonütötte legjobb barátnőjét egy Magnum fagylalt körül kialakult vita miatt.
A 90 éves nő és a 77 éves barátnője már a boltból a hazafelé összeveszett azon, hogy megolvadtak a fagylaltok.
A 90 éves nő a fagyasztóba akarta tenni a fagylaltokat, de a barátnője nem engedte, ezért a nő háromszor fejbe vágta egy serpenyővel.
A nő nem sokkal később belehalt a fejsérülésibe. Az incidens még tavaly nyáron történt, de a tárgyalásra néhány napja került sor, ahol a gyilkos bevallotta, hogy három nap múlva hívta csak ki a rendőrséget, addig a halott nő a padlón feküdt. A nő véres ruháit ugyan levette, kimosta és kiterítette, de úgy gondolta, hogy melege lesz, ezért jó neki a padlón.
A rendőrség már korábban is járt nálunk, mivel az idős nő nem először viselkedett agresszívan.
A Daily Mail szerint a vádlott ügyvédje óvadék ellenében kérte, hogy engedjék szabadon, úgy gondolta, hogy a mozgáskorlátozott nő, már nem jelent veszélyt senkire és nem tudna elmenekülni.

Csalók hívtak fel egy idős nőt, akinek azt állították, hogy a rendőrség bűnügyi osztályától vannak – írta a szlovákiai Új Szó.
Az ismeretlen női hang azt mondta az asszonynak, hogy a községben ukránok járnak, és hozzá is elmennek majd, miután szerepel a listájukon. Azért – folytatta –, hogy az értékei és megtakarítása ne kerüljön veszélybe, tegye azokat egy műanyag táskába, majd helyezze azt a ház előtt található szeméttárolóba. Ezután várnia kell, amíg a rendőrség a helyszínre ér, az értékeket pedig biztonságba helyezi. Az idős asszony a csalók utasításai szerint járt el, így legalább 8 ezer eurós kárt okoztak neki.
Az ügyben csalás miatt indult eljárás.

Az ítélet értelmében a 66 éves Margaret Buttimer – aki máris bevonult a büntetésvégrehajtó intézetbe – a karácsonyi ünnepeket is rácsok mögött tölti.
Az indoklás szerint Buttimer sorozatosan szegte meg a maszkviselésre vonatkozó szabályokat, legutóbb november 17-én, amikor fedetlen arccal ment be egy étterembe, és többszörös felszólítás ellenére sem volt hajlandó távozni.
A tárgyaláson Buttimer ártatlannak vallott magát, a bírónak pedig azt mondta, nincs meggyőződve a maszkviselés hasznosságáról, ahogyan arról sem, hogy valóban létezik-e a vírus.
Egészségügyi hatóságok a héten azt közölték, hogy Írországban is dominánssá vált a koronavírus legújabb, omikron nevű változata.
A Baltimore-i Johns Hopkins egyetem és kórház szerda reggeli összesítése szerint az ötmillió lelket számláló Írországban a járvány kezdete óta 666 657 fertőzöttet és 5835 halálos áldozatot regisztráltak.

Az ausztrál rendőrség letartóztatott egy 16 éves kamasz fiút, amiért behatolt egy nyugdíjas asszony házába, ahol megkísérelte megerőszakolni az ott lakó idős nőt.
A 16 éves fiút azért vették őrizetbe, mert csütörtök hajnalban beosont egy 91 éves asszony családi házába, majd párnák közé nyomta a fejét, és elkezdte lehúzni róla a ruháit annak érdekében, hogy megerőszakolja.
Az asszony azonnal felriadt álmából, és kifutott a szabadba, miközben minden erejével segítségért kiáltott, maga után pedig véres nyomokat húzott, mivel a tinédzser fizikailag is bántalmazta – olvasható a 7News hírportál riportjában.
A tinédzser végül gyorsított eljárásban került hétfőn a bíróság elé, akik szexuális erőszak bűntettének kísérlete és betörés miatt vádolták meg. A fiú beismerő vallomást tett, ami enyhítő körülmény lehet az ítélet meghozatalakor.
Mint kiderült, a kamasz korábban is követett el hasonló bűncselekményeket, azonban arra még egyszer sem volt példa, hogy szexuális indíttatásból tette volna meg őket.
A bíróság meghallgatta az idős asszony vallomását is, a 91 éves hölgy már a családtagjai és hozzátartozói körében van, viszont az események kiheveréséhez még jó pár hónapnak el kell majd telnie, hiszen magától nem mer visszatérni házába, mert fél attól, hogy ismét megtámadják.
A 16 éves elkövető az elkövetkező két hétben letartóztatásban marad, a bíró előreláthatólag július vége felé dönthet arról, mi lesz a sorsa, és kap-e súlyos börtönbüntetést, vagy megússza egy javítóintézeti látogatással a szörnyű cselekedetét.
