Halálos áldozatokkal járó iskolai lövöldözésnél kellett beavatkoznia a rendőrségnek a Wisconsin állambeli Madisonban – közölte a hatóság hétfőn.

Shon Barnes szavai szerint a feltételezett lövöldöző egy fiatalkorú, akit beavatkozó rendőrök szintén holtan találtak az iskola épületében. A rendőri vezető kérdésre válaszolva elmondta, hogy az első megállapítások szerint a tettes az iskola diákja volt.
A járőrök késő délelőtt, 10 óra 57 perckor érkeztek az intézményhez bejelentésre – mondta a rendőrfőnök, aki azt is elmondta, hogy az érintett iskola bejáratánál nem volt fémdetektor. A tájékoztatón az is elhangzott, hogy hét embert vittek kórházba lőtt sebesülésekkel, állapotuk a könnyű sebesüléstől az életveszélyesig terjed.
Az áldozatok és sérültek kilétét és életkorát egyelőre nem közölték, amit a hozzátartozók érdekeivel indokoltak. A területet lezárták, és a lakosságot arra kérték, hogy kerülje el az iskola környékét. Az Abundant Life Christian Schoolban csaknem 400 gyerek tanul, óvodáskorúaktól a középiskolásokig.

Lövöldözni kezdett egy fegyveres szerdán a Hetednapi Adventista Egyház által fenntartott Feather River iskolában a dél-kaliforniai Palermóban, két kisgyermek megsebesült – közölték a helyi hatóságok.
„A feltételezett elkövető meghalt” – írta a Butte megyei seriff hivatala az X közösségi platformon.
Kory L. Honea seriff a KCRA TV riporterének elmondta, hogy a helyszínre érkező rendőrök holtan találták a lövöldözés gyanúsítottját, feltehetően agyonlőtte magát.
A nyomozók vizsgálják, hogy volt-e valamilyen kapcsolata az iskolával. A lövöldözésben súlyosan megsebesült 5 éves és 6 éves kisfiút egy közeli kórházba szállították.

A fegyveres helyi idő szerint szerdán 13 óra után kezdett lövöldözni az 5500 lakosú Palermóban lévő keresztény magániskolában, amelybe óvodás kortól nyolcadik osztályig járnak a gyerekek. A honlapja szerint 1965 óta működő iskolának 33 tanulója van.
Honea közlése szerint a gyanúsított Uberrel érkezett a helyszínre, ahol először egy alkalmazottal beszélgetett egy gyermek iskolai beiratkozásáról. Az alkalmazott szerint a megbeszélés „szívélyes” hangulatú volt. A lövések ezt követően dördültek el.
A fegyveres holttestét az iskola területén, a játszótér közelében találták meg, és a holttest mellett egy kézifegyver is volt – mondta Honea.
A rendőrség az Uber-sofőrt is kihallgatja.
A Hetednapi Adventisták Észak-kalifornai Konferenciájának szóvivője közleményben fejezte ki együttérzését. „Mélyen elszomorított minket, ami ma a Feather River iskolánkban történt” – fogalmazott, megköszönve a seriff hivatalának gyors fellépését a gyermekek védelme érdekében.

Egy ember meghalt, öt pedig megsérült, miután egy diáklány lövöldözni kezdett a belorusz határhoz közeli Brjanszk városában csütörtök reggel. A lány végül önmagával is végzett – írta a BBC.
Az orosz hatóságok közölték, az egyik sérült állapota súlyos. Tájékoztatásuk szerint a lövöldöző az apja fegyverét használta.
A rendőrség előzetes információi szerint a támadó lányt osztálytársai bántalmazhatták az iskolában, ezért döntött úgy, hogy bosszút áll.

A szerbiai belügyminisztérium közleménye szerint a 14 éves fiú nem sokkal a tanítás kezdete után lőtt rá a gyanú szerint édesapja pisztolyával a diákokra, a tanárokra és az iskola biztonsági személyzetére. A rendőrök elfogták, a lövöldözés indítéka még ismeretlen.

A fiatalkorú elkövető egyik osztálytársának édesapja az N1 regionális hírtelevízió belgrádi irodájának nyilatkozva mondta el, hogy a lánya kiszaladt a teremből, amikor az egyébként eminens tanuló osztálytársa kifejezéstelen arccal lövöldözni kezdett a történelemórát tartó tanárra és a többi diákra.
A kórházi tájékoztatás szerint a sebesülteket ellátták, egyikük még életveszélyes állapotban van.

Egy fiatal nő volt az a lövöldöző, aki három gyereket és három felnőttet halálosan megsebesített Nashville-ben egy keresztény magániskolában hétfőn – közölte a helyi rendőrség vezető tisztségviselője.
Az iskola közelében tartott rövid sajtótájékoztatón Don Aaron elmondta, hogy a támadásnak összesen hat halálos áldozata van, valamint egy rendőr könnyebben megsebesült, amikor megpróbálták megállítani a támadót. A tragikus eseménynek több sérültje nincs – közölte.
A lövöldözésről az első bejelentést helyi idő szerint délelőtt negyed 11 előtt kapták, a támadót fél 11 körül lőtték le – hangzott el.
A rendőrségi tájékoztatás szerint a lövöldöző fiatal nő vélhetően tizenéves volt, aki két automata fegyverrel és egy kézifegyverrel volt felszerelkezve. Az is elhangzott, hogy a kiérkező rendőri alakulatok két tagja került szembe a támadóval, akit lelőttek az iskola emeletén.
Öt tinédzser, egy kétéves kislány és az anyja is megsérült, miután lövöldözés tört ki egy iskola előtt az Egyesült Államokban.
A beszámolók szerint a gyerekek többségét kimenekítették az iskolából, ők a szomszédban álló templomban várták meg szüleik érkezését.
Az intézménynek, egy keresztény magániskolának, amelyet a Covenant Presbiteriánus Egyház alapított 2001-ben, mintegy 200 tanulója van az előkészítő osztályoktól a 6. évfolyamig.
