Az idei LMBTQ rendezvényt szombaton délután tarják Kijev központjában, de a melegparádé ezúttal sem mentes a botrányoktól, Ukrán Ortodox Egyház provokációt emleget – számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál a Kyivpride-ra és Ukrán Ortodox Egyház kijevi metropolitájára hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint a szervezők kezdetben úgy döntöttek, hogy a másság ünnepét a Népgazdasági Kiállítás (VDNH) területén tartják. Ott azonban problémák merültek fel. Az esemény előtt egy nappal a Nemzeti Rendőrség a potenciális veszélyre való tekintettel helyszínváltoztatást kért. A szervezők hangsúlyozták, hogy egy napon belüli költözés gyakorlatilag a rendezvény lemondását jelenti, mivel ilyen rövid időn belül lehetetlen alternatív helyszínt találni.
A szervezők azonban hamarosan bejelentették, hogy a kijevi melegparádét mégis megtartják, de már a Külügyminisztérium épülete előtti téren. A rendezvény ma 15:00 órakor elkezdődött.
Az rbc.ua forrásai szerint egy csoport verekedésre kész ember érkezett a rendezvényre. Ennek megakadályozása érdekében a legagresszívabbakat a kerületi rendőrkapitányságra szállították. Azt is jelentették, hogy az LMBTQ ellen tiltakozók között katonák is vannak, azonban a hírportál forrásai ezt nem erősítették meg.
Jelenleg úgy tudni, hogy a csoport néhány tagja továbbra is a Külügyminisztérium előtti téren van. Obszcén jelszavakat kiabálnak, de közvetlen konfliktusra még nem került sor.
Az Ukrán Ortodox Egyház kijevi metropolitájának a sajtószolgálata reagált a melegparádé megrendezésére. Az egyház ezt az eseményt „szándékos, cinikus egyházellenes provokációnak” tekinti a helyszín, az időpont és a kijevi LMBTQ közösség támogatására szervezett felvonulás céljának megválasztása miatt.
Az egyházi közlemény megjegyezte, hogy a rendezvény jelenlegi, a Szent Mihály Aranykupolás kolostor falai alatti megrendezése a pünkösd napjának előestéjén „nem véletlen, hanem a szervezők direkte provokatív és egyházellenes szándékaira utal”.
„Az Ortodox Egyház kijevi metropolitája tiltakozását fejezi ki a provokáció ellen, és emlékeztet arra, hogy az Ortodox Egyháznak a homoszexualitás jelenségével és ideológiai propagandájával kapcsolatos álláspontját az Ortodox Egyház Helyi Tanácsának 2023. július 27-i, „A szodómia (homoszexualitás) bűnével, annak társadalmi propagandájával, a gender ideológiával és az úgynevezett azonos neműek házasságával (azonos neműek együttélésével) szembeni negatív hozzáállásról” szóló nyilatkozata rögzíti” – áll a közleményben.

Erőszakos csoportok hétfőn megrohamozták és feldúlták az LMBT (leszbikusok, melegek, biszexuálisok, transzneműek) közösség irodáját a georgiai fővárosban, Tbilisziben, egy tervezett büszkeségfelvonulás előtt – közölte a Tbilisi Pride csoport a Twitteren.A hétfő estére tervezett meleg felvonulást lemondták.
A közösségi oldalon fényképeket és videókat tettek közzé arról, ahogy a csoport tagjai betörtek az épületbe. A sértettek elmondták, hogy a támadás során néhány felszerelésük összetört.
A szexuális kisebbségek felvonulását ellenzők egyben a városközpontban lezárták a Rusztaveli sugárutat, így tiltakozva a helyi LMBT tagjainak hétfő estére tervezett Méltóság Menete ellen – jelentette a RIA Novosztyi orosz hírügynökség. A menet ellen tüntetők kezdetben a sugárúton található ortodox templom előtt gyülekeztek, majd átvonultak a parlament előtti térre. A helyszínre rendőrségi járőröket vezényeltek. A tiltakozók itt agresszívan léptek fel a média jelenlévő képviselőivel szemben. A sugárút autósforgalma megbénult.
A belügyminisztérium közleményben kérte az aktivistákat, hogy mondják le a menetet. A tárca részéről ezt biztonsági okokkal indokolták, kiemelve a nagyszámú ellentüntetők jelentette veszélyt.

A jelentés szerint az incidens vasárnap este 21:48 órakor álarcot viselő hét fiatal támadta meg kövekkel az LMBTQ-szervezet irodáját. Az elkövetők kövekkel beverték a helyiség két ablakát és megrongálták az egyik térfigyelő kamerát.
A szervezet közleménye szerint „történik mindez (a támadás) azt követően, hogy jobboldali szélsőségesek intéztek támadást május 27-én Kijevben egy melegekről szóló film bemutatója során a helyszín ellen, valamint hogy két incidens történt május 29-én.”
