Marija Kolesznyikova még az elrablása után sem volt hajlandó arra, hogy kitoloncolják Fehéroroszországból.
Fehéroroszország egyik vezető ellenzéki személyiségét, aki tavaly nagyszabású tüntetések élére állt Alekszandr Lukasenko önkényuralmi vezető ellen, 11 év börtönbüntetésre ítélte egy minszki bíróság.
Marija Kolesznyikova egyike volt annak a három nőnek, akik a tavaly nyári hatalmas békés tüntetések élére álltak, amelyek azzal fenyegettek, hogy véget vetnek Lukasenko 26 éves uralmának, s amelyeket azóta könyörtelen elnyomással vertek le.
A legtöbb vezető ellenzéki személyiség, köztük Szvjatlana Cihanouszkaja, aki a mozgalom első számú vezetője lett, nem sokkal a tavaly augusztusi tüntetések kezdete után kényszerült száműzetésbe, amelyeket az váltott ki, hogy Lukasenko győzelmet aratott a nemzetközileg széles körben manipuláltnak ítélt elnökválasztáson.
Kolesznyikova azonban nem volt hajlandó száműzetésbe vonulni, még akkor sem, amikor Lukasenko újra megerősítette hatalmát. Tavaly szeptemberben a biztonsági erők elrabolták őt a főváros, Minszk utcáiról, majd az ukrán határra vitték, ahol megpróbálták erőszakkal kitoloncolni.

Sajtóhírek szerint ismeretlenek hétfőn Minszkben elrabolták Marija Kalesznyikavát, a fehéroroszországi ellenzéki Koordinációs Tanács tagját.
A tut.by fehérorosz hírportál szemtanúkra hivatkozva beszámolt arról, hogy hétfő reggel álarcos emberek betuszkolták Kalesznyikavát egy kisbuszba, amelyen Szvjaz (összeköttetés, kapcsolat) felirat állt, majd elhajtottak vele. A hírportál szerint Kalesznyikava azóta nem válaszol a telefonhívásokra. A Koordinációs Tanács másik tagja, Makszim Znak is megerősítette, hogy nem tud vele kapcsolatba lépni.
