A támadásnak két halottja és 14 sebesültje van, nyolcan közülük kórházba kerültek.
Az oslói rendőrség letartóztatta a lövöldözés norvég állampolgárságú, iráni származású gyanúsítottját, akit a rendőrség kisebb bűncselekmények elkövetése miatt ismert már korábbról.
Az éjszaka történtek miatt a szervezők lemondták a szombatra Oslóban tervezett melegfelvonulást.
