 Engedély nélküli és erőszakba torkolló muszlimellenes tüntetés volt a svédországi Malmöben, a demonstrálók összecsaptak a rendőrséggel, több rendőr könnyebben megsebesült, és egy időre őrizetbe vettek 10-20 erőszakos tüntetőt – közölte szombaton a rendőrség.
 Malmöbe a Stram Kurs (Kemény Vonal) dán párt szervezett muszlimellenes tüntetést péntek estére, és ennek keretében koránégetést is tervezett. A svéd hatóságok nem engedélyezték a tüntetést, de miután a párt vezetője, Rasmus Paludan figyelmen kívül hagyta a tiltást – majdnem el is jutott Malmöbe –, Lernackenben őrizetbe vették, kitoloncolták, és két évre kitiltották Svédországból.
 Ettől függetlenül este a Paludannal szimpatizálók összesereglettek Malmöben, és elégették a Korán egy példányát. Utána összecsaptak a tüntetést feloszlatni akaró rendőrökkel, randalíroztak, és ennek során sebesült meg több rendőr.Szombaton már nyugodt volt a helyzet a városban, amelynek mintegy 320 ezer lakosa van, és több mint 40 százalékuk bevándorló.
 Rasmus Paludan nem először szervezkedett a migránsok ellen. Tavaly áprilisban a dán fővárosban a bevándorlásellenes párt hívei felvonulást tartottak, de ellentüntetések is szerveződtek, majd összecsapás tört ki a csoportok között. Később a verekedők ellen fellépő rendőröket is támadások érték.
 Szombaton a norvég fővárosban is volt muszlimellenes tüntetés és ezzel egy időben ellentüntetés. A rendőrség nagy erőkkel vonult ki a parlament épülete mellé, ahová a demonstrációkat bejelentették. A muszlimellenes csoport egyik női tagja látványosan kitépett több lapot egy Koránból, és leköpte őket. Egy ellentüntetőnek sikerült keresztüljutnia az elválasztó rendőrsorfalak között, és lábon rúgnia a nőt. A rendőrségnek ezután könnygázt és paprikasprayt kellett bevetnie az ellenséges csoport távoltartásához. Négy tüntetőt őrizetbe vettek.
