Az osztrák rendőrség két német turista haláláról számolt be, akiket azt követően kezdtek el keresni, hogy rokonaik arról számoltak be, hogy nem tudták felvenni velük a kapcsolatot, számolt be a Spiegel, írta a Jevropejszka Pravda.
Az incidens Tirolban, Fals község területén történt. Kedd este a mentők közleményt kaptak egy 28 éves német turista és 34 éves társa rokonaitól, hogy a hegyekbe mentek fel, és nem tértek vissza a megbeszélt időpontban.
A Hegyimentő Szolgálat két helikopterrel indította meg a keresést. Másnap mindkettőjüket holtan találták a Hüttengrat-hegység északi lábánál.
A halál okai még mindig ismeretlenek. Az útvonal nehéznek számít, és némi hegymászói képzettséget igényel. Aznap az időjárás is kedvezőtlen volt.
Néhány nappal a végzetes incidens előtt egy lány halt meg nagyjából ugyanezen a környéken.
