A hírportál a karácsony napján a nyugat-belgiumi Genkben késeléssel végződött összetűzésről tudósított. A késelés után egy afgán gyanúsítottat letartóztattak, egy 18 éves helyi férfi pedig kórházban lábadozik. Az összecsapások résztvevői gyakran kiskorú menekültek, akik életkoruk miatt nem toloncolhatók ki az országból – emlékeztetett a brüsszeli lap, de leszögezte, hogy a legutóbbi késelésnél – bár a gyanúsítottat hivatalosan kiskorúként regisztrálták – a nyomozás során kiderült, hogy valójában felnőtt.
A hírlap rámutatott, hogy Belgiumba legnagyobb számban afgánok érkeznek, akiknek 60 százaléka kísérő nélküli kiskorú. Ugyanakkor egyre többször fordul elő, hogy felnőtt afgánok különböző előnyök megszerzése végett kiskorúként regisztráltatják magukat, ezért a hatóságok több esetben csontvizsgálatot végeznek.
Sammy Mahdi migrációért és menekültügyéért felelős belga kereszténydemokrata miniszter e vizsgálatok felgyorsítását kezdeményezte minap a belga parlamentben. Mahdi szerint az embercsempészeket többször a kiskorú menekülteknek járó, mintegy 3500 eurós évi támogatásból fizetik ki, ezért a miniszter bejelentette, hogy jövő évtől csak az összeg egynegyedét folyósítják, a többit a gyermekgondozás költségeinek fedezésére fordítják.
Marino Keulen a limburgi tartományban található Lanaken polgármestere azt nyilatkozta a De Standaard napilapnak, hogy a helyi menekültközpontban „az afgánok sok gondot okoznak”. „Időről időre betörnek egy ablakot vagy összezúznak néhány bútort. Ez elbátortalanítja a személyzetet, akik közül néhányan már fel is mondtak” – mondta Keulen.
Sammy Mahdi a napilapnak adott nyilatkozatában ezt azzal magyarázta, hogy „az afgánok kevésbé iskolázottak, mint iraki vagy szír menekülttársaik, ráadásul ezek a közösségek nem is jönnek ki jól egymással”. A miniszter az is kijelentette, hogy „jobb lenne, ha a menedékkérők, beleértve a kiskorúakat is, addig várakoznának a határnál, amíg hivatalosan menekültstátuszt nem kapnak”. „A menedékkérők mintegy kétharmada nem jogosult a nemzetközi védelemre. De ha egyszer már az európai határokon belül vannak, nem lehet őket eltávolítani” – tette hozzá. Mahdi.

Bűnözéssel foglalkozó harkivi tagjainak őrizetbe vétele ellen kezdett tiltakozó akcióba a Nemzeti Hadtest párt szombaton Kijevben, az Elnöki Hivatal épületénél, ahol a paramilitáris szervezet aktivistái összecsaptak az épületet őrző rendőrökkel és nemzeti gárdistákkal, az incidensben rendőrök és gárdisták sérültek meg – adta hírül az Ukrajinszka Pravda hírportál a Belügyminisztérium kommunikációs igazgatójára hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint Artem Sevcsenko, a belügyi tárca kommunikációs főosztályának igazgatója Facebook-oldalán azt közölte, a tiltakozó akció résztvevői az Elnöki Hivatal épületénél nem engedelmeskedtek a rendőrség törvényes felszólításának, hogy vessék alá magukat a védett övezetbe történő belépés előtt biztonsági ellenőrzésnek, hogy nincsenek-e fegyverek vagy robbanóanyagok náluk. A tüntetők összetűzést provokáltak, amelynek során paprikasprayt, gumiabroncsokat és más eszközöket vetettek be a rendfenntartókkal szemben. Ennek nyomán a rendőrök kényszerítő eszközöket alkalmaztak a randalírozók megfékezésére. Az összecsapásban hét rendőr szemsérülést szenvedett, több gárdista pedig megsérült.
Mint hírportálunk augusztus 5-én beszámolt róla, nagyszabású razziát tartott az Ukrán Biztonsági Szolgálat (SZBU) Harkivban, amelynek során 53 házkutatást tartott a Nemzeti Hadtest párt irodáiban és tagjainál, valamint őrizetbe vette a bűnbandává fajult paramilitáris nacionalista szervezet 7 vezetőjét.
Két nappal később Andrij Bileckij, a Nemzeti Hadtest párt vezetője tömeges tiltakozó akciókat helyezett kilátásba szombatra, miután egy kijevi bíróság két hónapra letartóztatásba helyezte a paramilitáris szervezet védelmi zsarolással és más szervezett bűnözői tevékenységgel gyanúsított hét harkivi vezetőjét.

A demonstráló tömeg a római parlament elé vonult, ahol azt skandálták, hogy “hagyjanak minket dolgozni” és “szabadságot a vendéglátósoknak”.
Az AP hírügynökség értesülései szerint a tüntetők később összetűzésbe keveredtek a kivezényelt rendőrökkel, akik a helyszínen letartóztattak hét vendéglátóst, miközben egy kollégájuk könnyű sérüléseket szenvedett.
Olaszországban az éttermeknek, bároknak, kávézóknak és kocsmáknak legalább április végéig zárva kell tartaniuk, és kizárólag elvitelre szolgálhatnak fel ételeket és italokat. A vendéglátóiparban dolgozó olasz állampolgárok egyöntetű véleménye alapján újra kellene nyitni az egész szektort, főként azért is, mert a kórházi ellátásra szoruló koronavírus-páciensek száma jelentősen visszaesett a sárga zónákba sorolt régiókban.

A Spanyolországhoz tartozó Kanári-szigeteken egyre nagyobb a feszültség a migránsok és a helyi lakosok között. Az idén november végéig már legalább 17 ezer migráns érkezett a szigetekre, akik többségét szállodákban helyezték el, nyilván a spanyol adófizetők pénzéből. A helyiekkel azonban egyre többször keverednek összetűzésbe, és a tömeges jelenlétük az egyébként is nehéz helyzetben lévő turizmust is veszélyezteti – írja a V4NA nemzetközi hírügynökség.
Dühös helyiek csoportja vonult egy szálloda elé a Kanári-szigeteken, ahol többnyire arab illegális bevándorlók vannak elszállásolva. A beszámolók szerint a mogáni lakosoknak elegük lett a migránsokból, akik az elmúlt hónapokban folyamatosan érkeztek a városba.
Az utolsó csepp az volt a pohárban, amikor egy 27 éves férfit, Kevint egy migránsokból álló banda megvert és kirabolt. A férfi még múlt hét szerdán lett figyelmes arra, hogy Mogán központjában a nyugat-afrikai, arab fiatalokból álló banda két lányt inzultál. Kevin a segítségükre sietett, felszólította a migránsokat, hogy hagyják békén a lányokat. A csoport tagjai azonban rátámadtak, miközben egyikük azt kiabálta, hogy „öljük meg”. Erről Kevin testvére beszélt a sajtónak.

A Canarias7 beszámolója szerint ezután a támadók elfutottak, a férfi azonban utánuk ment, hogy visszakérje telefonját, pénztárcáját és a kulcsait. A banda egy idősebb tagjától végül visszakapta a mobilját és a pénztárcáját, a jogosítványát és a slusszkulcsát azonban nem.
A férfinak olyan súlyos sérülései lettek, hogy kórházba kellett szállítani, a hatóságok pedig eljárást indítottak.
Az áldozat családja szerint azonban a szigeten egyre gyakoribbak az ilyen támadások.
