Egy koronavírusból lábadozó betegnél a sárgagomba tüneteit fedezték fel – idézte az ANI hírügynökség egy Uttar Pradesh állambeli kórház orvosát. Az új betegség állítólag veszélyesebb, mint a feketegomba.
Dr. BP Tyagi fül-orr-gégész az Uttar Pradesh államban található Ghaziabad városában elmondta, hogy ez volt az első eset, amikor egy koronavírusból lábadozó betegnél sárgagombát észleltek. A 45 éves férfi az elmúlt hónapokban koronavírus-kezelés alatt állt, azonban az elmúlt napokban romlott az állapota, ezért felvették a kórházba, és a vizsgálat sárgagomba-fertőzést mutatott ki.
Az orvos szerint a sárgagomba egy potenciálisan halálos betegség, amelyet a rossz higiénia és a páratartalom okoz. Veszélyesebb, mint a feketegomba vagy a fehérgomba, mivel nehéz diagnosztizálni, ugyanis a test belsejéből indul ki, és elsősorban a belső szerveket érinti. A feketegomba-fertőzés határozott arccsontozódással kezdődik, amit könnyű észrevenni. A sárgagomba tünetei közé tartozik a letargia, az étvágytalanság, a fogyás, és súlyos esetben a betegség szervi megbetegedéshez vezethet. Hozzátette, hogy a betegnek korábban fekete- és fehérgomba tünetei voltak, amelyek szintén a koronavírus-fertőzés szövődményei.
Ez azért történt, mert a mucormycosis (közismert nevén feketegomba) és a fehérgomba esetei egyre gyakoribbak a koronavírusos betegek körében Indiában, olyannyira, hogy több állam is járványnak nyilvánította. Gombás fertőzésekről számoltak be továbbá olyan betegeknél, akiket a koronavírus-kezelésének részeként hosszabb ideig oxigéntámogatásban részesítettek, vagy szteroidokat írtak fel nekik. Mind a fekete, mind a fehérgomba a tüdőt és más létfontosságú szerveket is érinti, és rendkívül veszélyes lehet a legyengült szervezetre.
Az NDTV indiai műsorszolgáltató szerint azonban Ghaziabad főorvosát, NK Guptát még nem tájékoztatták sárgagomba-gyulladásos esetekről. Az NDTV idézi Dr. Randeep Guleria tüdőgyógyászt, a delhi All India Institute of Medical Sciences igazgatóját is, aki óva intett attól, hogy a gombafertőzéseket a színük és az általuk érintett területek alapján nevezzék el, mivel ez félrevezető lehet és zavart kelthet.
“Általánosságban elmondható, hogy a gombafajták, amelyekkel leginkább találkozunk, a Mucormycosis, a Candida és az Aspergillosis. A Mucormycosisra inkább olyan esetekben bukkanunk, amikor a koronavírust szteroidokkal és cukorbetegséggel kombinálják. Az orrban, az orrmelléküregekben találhatók, és bejuthatnak az agyba” – mondta Dr. Guleria. A fehérgombával összefüggésbe hozott Candida a gyenge immunitásúaknál “fehér foltok formájában jelentkezett a szájüregben… és átterjedhet a vérbe” – mondta Dr. Guleria. A legkevésbé gyakori az aspergillózis, amely a tüdőt érinti, és allergiás reakciókat okozhat, a sárgagomba okait és tüneteit azonban nem részletezte – írja az RT.
