 Újabb áldozatot követelt az orosz–ukrán háború: augusztus 23-án éjjel egy ukrán MiG-29-es vadászgép pilótája, Szerhij Bondar leszállás közben meghalt – jelentette be az RBC–Ukraine, az Ukrán Fegyveres Erők Légierejére hivatkozva.
 A MiG-29-es vadászgép pilótája, az 1979-ben született Bondar Szerhij Viktorovics őrnagy, miután leszállás közben teljesített egy harci feladatot, meghalt – áll a jelentésben. A parancsnokság hozzátette, hogy a baleset okát és körülményeit vizsgálják, és részvétét fejezte ki az elhunyt családjának és barátainak.
