Szinte csodával határos módon élte túl két gyermek, ahogyan egy felfújható ugrálóvár levegőbe emelkedett egy dél-afrikai iskola jótékonysági rendezvényén – írta a Daily Mail. Az iskola sportpályáján tartották a csaknem tragédiába torkolló rendezvényt, amelyen több mint ezer szülő, diák és barát vett részt.
A feltételezhetően nem megfelelően rögzített ugrálóvárat az erős szél mintegy 40 méter magasra repítette. A krugersdorpi Laerskool Protearif általános iskola diákjai rémülten sikoltoztak, amikor az eszköz a levegőbe emelkedett a gyerekekkel együtt.
A helyszínen tehetetlenül nézték, ahogy egy ugrálóvárba szorult személy nem tudott megkapaszkodni, és lezuhant a földre, majd egy másik is elvesztette az egyensúlyát, és lecsúszott a felfújható játék oldaláról. A szülők a lap szerint bár „emberfalat” alkottak, hogy megakadályozzák a tragédiát, de a gyermekek így is súlyosan megsérültek.
Egyiküknél koponyatörést, míg a másikuknál karcsonttörést diagnosztizáltak. Utóbbi még aznap hazatérhetett, előbbi három nappal később hagyta el a kórházat.
Azt nem tudni, hogy hányan voltak még a felfújható várban, és hogy közülük hányan tudtak megkapaszkodni, amikor a vár körülbelül 15 méterrel arrébb landolt attól a ponttól, ahonnan a szél felkapta.

Négy gyerek meghalt, öten pedig megsérültek, amikor az erős szél felkapott egy ugrálóvárat az ausztráliai Devonport egyik általános iskolájánál – írja a Daily Star.
A cikk szerint az iskolában egy tanév végi rendezvényt tartottak, és az ugrálóvár mellett más játékok is voltak. A helyiek beszámolója szerint aznap nem volt különösen erős a szél, de vélhetően egy erősebb lökés letéphette a játékot a rögzítéséről, miközben a gyerekek benne voltak. A gyerekek ezután mintegy tíz méterről zuhantak a földre.
A sérülteket ezután mentő helikopterrel szállították a kórházba. Az első jelentések még egy halálos áldozatról szóltak, ezt később pontosították. Öt gyereket kórházban ápolnak.
A baleset után Scott Morrison, ausztrál kormányfő, és Peter Gutwein, Tasmánia miniszterelnöke is részvétét fejezte ki az áldozatok családtagjainak.
