 A jelentés szerint a vállalat azt írta: „Ma ismét baleset történt az egyik létesítményben, amelyet korábban jelentős károk értek a bombázások következtében.” Emiatt a főváros Dnyipro és Darnyica kerületeinek egyes lakosai ideiglenesen áram nélkül maradtak. A Kijev megyei Brovari járásban több otthonban nincs áram. „Mindent megteszünk a baleset következményeinek mielőbbi elhárítása érdekében” – jegyezte meg a DTEK.
  
 
 Részleges áramszünet állt be Kijev bal partján szombat este. A helyzet nemcsak az emberek otthonait, hanem a trolibusz-forgalmat is érintette. Szombat reggel Csernyihiv egésze, sőt a megye nagy része is áram nélkül maradt, mivel az oroszok megtámadták a régió energia-infrastruktúráját.
 Az Ukrenerho ugyanakkor arról számolt be, hogy ma hosszú idő óta először nem lesz áramszünet Ukrajnában. Vagyis az áram egész nap elérhető lesz minden régióban.

 A jelentés szerint Smihal jelezte: „Ma délelőtt 10:42 órakor technológiai zavar lépett fel, melynek következtében egyidejűleg működésképtelenné vált a Románia és Moldova energiarendszerét összekötő 400 kV-os, valamint az Ukrajna nyugati és középső részét összekötő 750 kV-os vezeték.” Szerinte ez kaszkádszerű kiesést okozott az ukrán elektromos hálózatban, és beindította az alállomások automatikus lekapcsolását. Az atomerőművek blokkjait tehermentesítették. Jelenleg Kijevben, Kijev, Zsitomir és Harkiv megyékben különleges vészhelyzeti leállási ütemtervek vannak érvényben.
 „Az Ukrenerho energiaszolgáltató vállalat munkatársai dolgoznak az áramszolgáltatás helyreállításán. Az áramszolgáltatás a következő órákban helyreáll” – tette hozzá a miniszter. Az Energetikai Minisztérium tisztázta, hogy a szakértői előrejelzése szerint az áramszolgáltatás a következő 2-3 órán belül helyreáll.Volodimir Zelenszkij ukrán elnök is bejelentette, hogy már hallotta Julija Szviridenko miniszterelnök és Denisz Smihal energetikai miniszter jelentéseit az ukrán energiarendszerben kialakult vészhelyzetről. „Az ukrán energiarendszer szintjén minden szükséges válaszlépés megtörtént, a helyreállítási munkálatok folyamatban vannak. A feladat a helyzet stabilizálása a közeljövőben” – jegyezte meg az államfő.
