 Людей з районів, для яких оголошено помаранчевий ризик попередження, просять залишатися у приміщеннях, оскільки пориви вітру можуть сягати 200 км/год і великий ризик отримати травму предметами, підхопленими шквалом. На півдні острова вранці вже реєстрували пориви вітру швидкістю 224 км/год.
 21 тисяча людей станом на 15 годину залишалися без елетроенергії – майже вдвічі менше, ніж спочатку.
 Через ситуацію на острові уряд Франції створив спеціальну кризову групу.
