 Rendőrségi őrizetbe vettek egy tízéves fiút, miután lopott járművel áthajtott egy zsúfolt minnesotai iskola játszóterén – közölték a hatóságok az NBC Chicago szombati beszámolója szerint.
 Szeptember 20-án riasztották a rendőröket a minneapolisi Nellie Stone Johnson Általános Iskolához, miután – ahogy a térfigyelő kamerák felvételein is látszik – egy autó többször is áthajtott a környékbeli forgalmas játszótéren.
  
 Az iskola személyzete még a rendőrök kiérkezése előtt megközelítette a száguldozó járművet, amelynek vezetőülésén egy tízéves fiút találtak, akit – megelőzve egy nagyobb balesetet – végül eltávolítottak a kormány mögül.
 A fiút testi sértés vádjával csütörtökön a Hennepin megyei fiatalkorúak fogdájába szállították.
 A rendőrség tájékoztatása szerint az elkövetőt korábban legalább kétszer letartóztatták autólopással kapcsolatos bűncselekmények miatt, valamint több mint 12 ügyben gyanúsítottként szerepel, az autólopástól kezdve a rabláson át a veszélyes fegyverrel elkövetett támadásig. A játszótéri akcióban információk szerint senki sem sérült meg.
