A 250 méteres Affinity V Szaúd-Arábia felé tartott, amikor zátonyra futott. A szingapúri zászló alatt hajózó, ám megfeneklett Affinity V-nek a kiszabadításával viszont nem kínlódtak közel egy hetet a csatorna munkatársai: mindössze néhány óra alatt sikerült elmozdítani a hajót.
