Az ukrán rendvédelmi szervek augusztus 20-án megszakították a helyi katolikus templomban tartott ünnepi misét bombariadó gyanújával. A hatóságokhoz névtelen bejelentés alapján érkezett értesítés, hogy a helyi katolikus templomban robbanóanyagot helyeztek el. Az épületet kiürítették.
Aknaszlatina Az ünnepi misét a hatóságok félbeszakították és mindenkit felszólítottak, hogy bombariadó miatt kiürítik a templomot, jelen pillanatban a tűzszerészek megérkezését várják.
Kocserha János, Aknaszlatina alpolgármestere a helyzet kapcsán elmondta: „Valaki értesítette ma kora délelőtt a hatóságokat, hogy bomba van a templomba, a rendőség rögtön a helyszínre érkezett és kiürítette az épületet. Jelenleg a tűzszerészek érkezését várjuk, a misét azonban nem hagytuk abba, a templom udvarán folytatjuk az ünnepséget, a jelen információk szerint hasonló a helyzet Técsőn és Kárpátalja más településein.”
