 Megjegyezték, hogy az önkéntes halálával kapcsolatos információ korábban a közösségi oldalakon jelent meg, később Csehország védelmi minisztériuma is megerősítette.
 Az önkéntes a donyecki régióban lévő Avdijivka városért vívott csatákban halt meg. Pozíciója aknavetők tüze alá került, amit követően senki sem látta az önkéntest. Jelenleg a helyszín orosz megszállók felügyelete alatt van. A teljes körű orosz invázió 2022 februári kezdete óta összesen négy cseh állampolgár vesztette életét az Ukrajnáért vívott harcokban.
