A 22 éves Bohdan Linicsenkót, akit március 14. óta kerestek, holtan találták meg a Dnyeper folyóban – közölte a Cserkaszi megyei rendőrség sajtószolgálata.
A hozzátartozók bejelentése után a rendőrség széles körű kutatást indított, amely során utcákat, parkokat és más közterületeket is átvizsgáltak, hogy megtalálják az eltűnt fiatal férfit.
A holttestre április 20-án, körülbelül 13:00 órakor bukkantak rá a Dnyeper folyóban. Az elsődleges vizsgálatok szerint nem találtak erőszakos halálra utaló nyomokat. Az ügyben szakértői vizsgálatokat rendeltek el.
A hatóságok jelenleg vizsgálják a tragédia pontos körülményeit.

A Nova Kahovka-i gát felrobbanása után rengeteg orosz katonát elsodort a Dnyeper áradása – állítja a CNN-nek egy ukrán százados.
Andrij Pidlisznyij százados azt mondta az amerikai lapnak, hogy a gát felrobbanása előtt számos orosz katona tartózkodott a Dnyeper bal partján, köztük sokan meghaltak, amikor a gát felrobbant.
„A baloldali part alacsonyabban fekszik, mint a jobboldali part, ezért jobban elárasztotta a folyó. Amikor a gát felrobbant, a partok teljesen víz alá kerültek. Azt kell megérteni, hogy nem csupán lövészárkokról van szó, sok katona egyszerű civil házakban élt” – állítja az ukrán tiszt, aki elmondása szerint embereivel együtt drónokkal figyelte, hogy mi történik a gátrobbanás után.
Pidlisznyij szerint a gátat Oroszország robbantotta fel, az, hogy orosz katonák vesztek oda a robbanás következtében, azzal magyarázható, hogy az orosz hadvezetés nem adott kimenekítési parancsot a térségben található alakulatoknak, mert fenn akarta tartani a meglepetés erejét.
