Az Iszlám Állam egyik követőjének robbantásos merényletét sikerült megakadályozni az észak-oszétiai Vlagyikavkazban – tudatta kedden az orosz Szövetség Biztonsági Szolgálat (FSZB) közönségkapcsolat-szolgálata.
A támadó, egy húszéves orosz ember az FSZB szerint
azt tervezte, hogy a házi készítésű pokolgépének felrobbantása után a Közel-Keletre utazik, és ott beáll a terroristák közé.
A gyanúsított, aki ellen terrorszervezetben való részvétel és terrorcselekmény kísérlete címén indult eljárás, egy meg nem nevezett közigazgatási épületet akart megtámadni.
Alekszandr Bortnyikov, az FSZB igazgatója június közepén közölte, hogy Oroszországban az elmúlt tíz évben csaknem 160 terrorcselekményt sikerült megakadályozni.
