Egy ember életét vesztette és ketten megsérültek, amikor péntek este Kijevben a viharos szél az úttestre döntött egy fát, amely egy ott elhaladó autóra esett – adta hírül szombaton a strana.news hírportál.
A tudósítás szerint a szerencsétlenség a főváros Szvjatosinszkij kerületében, a Verhovinna utcában történt. Helyi lakosok elmondása szerint az úttestre zuhanó fa, amely egy villanyoszlopot is kidöntött, telibe talált és valósággal összelapított egy fehér Peugeot márkájú személygépkocsit. Az autóban utazók egyike a helyszínen életét vesztette, ketten sérüléseket szenvedtek, és kórházba szállították őket.
Az összelapított jármű utasat a Rendkívüli Helyzetek Szolgálatának munkásai csak speciális eszközök használatával tudták kiemelni. A helyszínre több mentőautót irányítottak. A kidőlt fa és villanyoszlop több ott parkoló autót is megrongált.
A rendőrség vizsgálatot indított annak kiderítésére, hogy melyik közművállalat kezelésében volt a kidőlt korhadt fa, amely egy ember halálát okozta. Az ügyben a hatóságok büntetőeljárást fognak kezdeményezni.
