Prigozsin oroszországi lázadásának hátterében összefogásra szólította fel országa népét.
„Minden gondolkodó ember értette, hogy az Oroszországi Föderáció hazugságra, korrupcióra és törvénytelenségre épült. Ennek a folyamatnak az aktív szakaszának kezdetét figyeljük. Nem tudjuk, mit hoz a holnap” – mondta.
A fegyveres erők alezredese úgy véli, hogy az oroszbarát út, amelyen Lukasenka diktátor éveken át vezette az országot, zsákutcába juttatta Fehéroroszországot.
„El kell döntenünk, mit tegyünk ezután, és gyorsan kell döntést hoznunk, mert vagy kihasználjuk ezt a történelmi lehetőséget, és sikeres európai országgá válunk, vagy mindent elveszítünk, és a Fehérorosz Köztársaság neve csak a könyvekben létezik majd. Először is a fehérorosz hadsereghez szeretnék szólni. Nincs kire támaszkodnunk. De egyesülve, biztosan sikerülni fog. Egyesíteni fogjuk a nemzetet, megmentjük az anyaországot, minden más is kialakul később” – tette hozzá Szahascsik.
Arra kérte a 38. légideszant dandár katonáit és más katonai egységeket, hogy legyenek elérhetők.
