Egy 20 éves finn önkéntes meghalt vagy eltűnt a kelet-ukrajnai háborús cselekmények során – számolt be kedden az rbc.ua hírportál az Yle című finn kiadványra hivatkozva.
A finn orgánum szerint az önkéntes néhány hónapja hagyta el Finnországot, hogy önként csatlakozzon az ukrán fegyveres erőkhöz.
A kiadvány azt állította, hogy a férfi az ukrajnai háborúban meghalt. A finn külügyminisztérium ugyanakkor arról számolt be, hogy április 13-án, vasárnap egy finn állampolgár meghalt vagy eltűnt Kelet-Ukrajnában.
A minisztérium konzuli osztályának vezetője, Jussi Tanner elmondta, hogy a finn hatóságok az ügyben felvették a kapcsolatot az ukrán kollégáikkal.
