A hírt július 2-án közölte a hivatal.
„A 2022. július 2-i reggel reggeli adatok szerint több mint 984 gyermek sérült meg Ukrajnában az Orosz Föderáció fegyveres agressziója következtében” – olvasható a jelentésben.Összesen 344 gyermek vesztette életét és több mint 640 kiskorú sebesült meg.
Legutóbb az Odessza megyét ért rakétatámadás során sérültek meg gyermekek: ketten meghaltak, ezenkívül egy 2 éves kislány, valamint egy 8 és egy 13 éves kisfiú megsebesült.
A kremencsuki Amsztor bevásárlóközpontban egy 9 éves gyermek vesztette életét, a Donyeck megyei Bahmutban történt rakétatámadás során pedig egy 11 éves kisfiú.

A Főügyészi Hivatal közölte, lezárult az előzetes vizsgálat a szökésben lévő Viktor Janukovics exelnök és kilenc magas rangú köztisztviselő ellen a Majdanon történt kivégzések ügyében, számolt be a Legfőbb Ügyészség sajtószolgálata.
A hivatal közölte: mivel Janukovics és a kilenc köztisztviselő 2014 óta bujkál a nyomozást végző szervek és a bíróság elől, a büntetőeljárásban az előzetes nyomozást speciális eljárás keretében folytatták le.
Egyben közölték: a nyomozás megállapította, hogy az egykori elnök, a Biztonsági Szolgálat exvezetője, egykori belügyminiszter, az akkori kijevi rendőrkapitány és helyettesei, Ukrajna Belügyminisztérium hadseregének exparancsnoka, Ukrajna egykori védelmi minisztere, a fővárosi Berkut-ezred exparancsnoka meg akarta szüntetni a Janukovics hatalmon maradását fenyegető tömegtüntetéseket.
A nyomozás adatai szerint a hatáskörüket és munkaköri jogkörüket túllépve, jogalapok nélkül szervezték meg az Ukrán Fegyveres Erők katonái és a rendfenntartó tisztjei részéről a fizikai erőszak, különleges eszközök, katonai felszerelések, lőfegyverek alkalmazását az erőszakos ellenállásra, valamint a tüntetők szétoszlatására.
A Főügyészi Hivatal közölte, a Janukovics vezette bűnözői csoport tagjai 2014. február 18-án délelőtt az elnök jogkörét korlátozó 2004-es alkotmányhoz való visszatérésről szóló parlamenti szavazás érdekében az utcára kivonuló tiltakozók erőszakos feloszlatását rendelték el.
Ezen kívül 2014. február 18-án délután „terrorellenes hadművelet” leple alatt a Majdan támadását szervezték meg. Február 20-án délelőtt pedig a Berkut „fekete százada” valamint a fegyveres „tyituskák” a tüntetők közé lőttek.
