Kézigránát robbanása következtében hétfőn a Kijevhez közeli Csajki községben életét vesztette Hennagyij Csesztyakov, Valerij Zaluzsnij hadsereg-főparancsnok asszisztense – jelentette be a Nemzeti Rendőrség a Telegram-csatornáján, számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál.
A kiadványnak a rendőrségi forrásai arról számoltak be, hogy az életét vesztett Hennagyij Csesztyakov Valerij Zaluzsnij, az ukrán fegyveres erők főparancsnokának asszisztenseként dolgozott. A rendőrség tájékoztatása szerint a tragédia a Kijev térségében található Csajki falu lakóparkjában történt.
A robbanásról szóló bejelentést követően a rendőrség azonnal a helyszínre érkezett. Mint jelentették egy 39 éves katona kézigránát-robbanás következtében életét vesztette. A 13 éves fia súlyosan megsérült.
A rendőrség nyomozói jelenleg is a helyszínen dolgoznak. Az ügyben haláleset és törvénytelen lőszerkezelés miatt indult büntetőeljárás.
