Elesett Los Angeles-i otthonában és beverte a fejét a Dead Kennedys dobosa, DH Peligro. Az életét már nem tudták megmenteni – számolt be a Borsonline. A zenész egykoron a világhírű Red Hot Chili Peppers dobosa is volt.
„A Dead Kennedys dobosa, DH Peligro (Darren Henley) október 28-án elhunyt Los Angeles-i otthonában. Véletlen esés következtében a fejét ért sérülés következtében halt meg. A függőben lévő intézkedésekről a következő napokban adunk tájékoztatást. Köszönjük a gondolataitokat és vigasztaló szavaitokat” – írta a banda. A dobos 1981-ben csatlakozott a Dead Kenndedys-hez, és a szakításukig velük maradt. Amikor 2001-ben újra egyesültek, Peligro visszatért, és továbbra is velük dolgozott.
A dobos a Red Hot Chili Peppers tagja is volt, és 1988-ban Jack Ironst váltotta fel a dobokon. A következő évben a Mother’s Milk című album néhány számával is közreműködött a dal megírásában, de a „kábítószer- és alkoholproblémák” miatt a bandával töltött ideje rövidre sikerült.
A Peligro utolsó fellépése a Free LSD című filmben lesz látható, amely 2023-ban jelenik meg – egy sci-fi vígjáték egy Los Angeles-i punkbandáról, amint együtt készítik albumukat.
