Az ukrán miniszterelnök-helyettes jelentette be, hogy hiába számolt be az orosz fél a mariupoli civilek evakuálása kapcsán elrendelt tűzszünetről, még mindig nem született meg a megállapodás a két fél között.
Irina Verescsuk, Ukrajna miniszterelnök-helyettese hétfőn kijelentette, még mindig nem született meg a megállapodás Oroszországgal a mariupoli Azovstal acélműben ragadt civilek evakuálása kapcsán. Verescsuk a Telegramon közölte, hogy bár az orosz fél hétfőn ismételten bejelentette, hogy biztosítják az evakuációs folyosót a mariupoli civilek számára, még mindig nincs megállapodás az ügyben.
Kijelentette, az oroszok állítását a folyosó biztosításáról “még el is lehetne hinni, ha az oroszok korábban nem hiúsították volna meg olyan sokszor a humanitárius folyosók biztosítását”, hozzátéve, hogy pontosan tudja, hogy miről beszél, hiszen jelenleg ő folytat tárgyalásokat az ukrán elnök nevében az orosz féllel.
Hangsúlyozta, mindenkinek meg kell értenie, hogy hiába állítja azt az orosz fél, hogy biztosítja a humanitárius folyosókat, ehhez mindkét fél egyetértése szükséges, vagyis az egyoldalúan kihirdetett biztosítás valójában nem jelent biztonságot, és nem is jött létre az orosz fél által hangoztatott humanitárius folyosó.
Ennek kapcsán pedig keserűen kijelentette: “Tehát hivatalosan és nyilvánosan kijelentem: sajnos ma nincs megállapodás az azovstali humanitárius folyosókról”.
Habár az orosz védelmi minisztérium egy hivatalos közleményben jelentette be, hogy hétfőn minden támadást szüneteltetnek Mariupolban, mindezt annak érdekében, hogy a mariupoli Azovstal acélműben ragadt civileket evakuálhassák, és hogy a civilek “bármilyen irányban elhagyhatják a területet”, úgy tűnik, nem annyira gondolták komolyan a bejelentést.
Pénteken Mihail Mizincev vezérezredes, a humanitárius reagálásért felelős orosz tárcaközi koordinációs parancsnokság és a Nemzeti Védelmi Irányító Központ vezetője kijelentette, “azonnal humanitárius tűzszünet lép életbe, ha a mariupoli Azovsztal acélműben lévő ukrán alakulatok felmutatják a fehér zászlót”.

A BBC azt a jelentést kapta, hogy az orosz erők az evakuációs útvonalra lövöldöznek az ostromlott Mariupol városából. Oleg Nikolenko, az ukrán külügyminisztérium szóvivője közölte, hogy az orosz erők megtámadták a város és Zaporizzsija közötti humanitárius folyosót, 225 kilométerre északkeletre.

Stillhart azt mondta, azért volt kudarcos a civilek evakuálása a hétvégén, mert hiába egyeztetett napokig a korridorokról az orosz és az ukrán fél, számukra végig óriási kihívás maradt, hogy a megegyezésük „konkrét, végrehajtható és precíz” legyen. Mint mondta, a megállapodások csak „elvben” köttettek meg – és azért vallottak azonnal kudarcot, mert nem pontosították az útvonalakat, és azt sem, hogy kik használhatják azokat.
Stillhart mindennek illusztrálására elmondta, hogy a Vöröskereszt munkatársai sem tudták elhagyni Mariupolt vasárnap, mégpedig azért nem, mert az útvonal, mely használatát engedélyezték nekik a menekülésre, valójában alá volt aknázva, mint azzal a munkatársak már a helyszínen szembesültek.

Humanitárius folyosó nyílt az orosz csapatok által blokád alá vont Mariupolnál és Volnovaktánál – írja az Interfax orosz hírügynökség, az orosz védelmi minisztériumra szombati jelentésére hivatkozva.
A tárca bejelentése szerint az orosz erők moszkvai idő szerint tíz órakor beszüntetik a harcokat, hogy a délkelet-ukrajnai Mariupol és az ugyancsak Donyeck megyében található, mintegy húszezres Volnovakta civil lakossága elhagyhassa a területet. A RIA Novosztyi orosz hírügynökség Moszkvára hivatkozva arról tudósított, hogy a mariupoli korridor moszkvai idő szerint déli 12 és délután öt óra között áll nyitva.
Az orosz védelmi minisztérium ugyanakkor azt is bejelentette: Oroszország folytatja „széleskörű hadműveleteit” Ukrajnában. Mariupol polgármestere, Vadim Bojcsenko nem sokkal korábban már sürgette a humanitárius folyosó kialakítását, és Telegram-csatornájára feltöltött üzenetben azt közölte, hogy a város „kérlelhetetlen” támadásokat kénytelen kiállni.
„Elsődleges célunk tűzszünet elérése, hogy a létfontosságú infrastruktúrát helyreállíthassuk, és a humanitárius folyosó megnyitása, hogy élelmiszer és gyógyszer érkezhessen a városba” – tette hozzá Mariupol első embere.
Mariupol és Volnovakta elfoglalása megkönnyítené az összeköttetést az Azovi-tenger partján a Krím felől előrenyomuló orosz csapatok ellenőrzése alatt álló területek, valamint szakadárok által kezén lévő donyecki területek és az orosz határ között.
A humanitárius folyosók létesítéséről az ukrán és az orosz fél az ukrán–fehérorosz, majd a lengyel–fehérorosz határ közelében nemrég tartott tárgyalásokon egyezett meg. Korábban Olekszij Danyilov, az ukrán Nemzetbiztonsági és Védelmi Tanács (RNBO) titkára a korridorokat „a legfontosabb kérdésnek” nevezte. A tárgyalásokon mindazonáltal nem sikerült megállapodni a harcok beszüntetéséről. Mihajlo Podoljak, az ukrán elnöki hivatal tanácsadója pénteken azt mondta, Ukrajna arra számít, hogy a hét végén meg lehet tartani a tárgyalások harmadik fordulóját.
