Az Iszlám Állam nevű terrorszervezetnek még mindig 5000-7000 tagja van Szíriában és Irakban, de katonáik Afganisztában jelentik a legnagyobb fenyegetést – közölték az ENSZ szakértői egy helyi idő szerint hétfőn közzétett jelentésben.
A Daes (az Iszlám Állam rövidítése arab nyelven) elleni szankciókat elemző szakértők szerint a terrorszervezet jelentette fenyegetés magas volt a konfliktusövezetekben, de alacsony a konfliktusmentes területeken.
A jelentésben arra figyelmeztetnek, hogy a terrorszervezet vezetésében bekövetkezett jelentős veszteségek, emellett a szíriai és iraki tevékenységük csökkenése ellenére az Iszlám Állam újbóli megerősödésének veszélye továbbra is fennáll.
A folyamatos terrorellenes műveletek ellenére az Iszlám Állam továbbra is 5000-7000 tagot tart számon Irakban és Szíriában a szakértők szerint, azonban szándékosan csökkentették a támadások számát hogy megkönnyítsék a toborzást és az újjászerveződést.
„A terrorszervezet módosította stratégiáját, elvegyült a helyi lakosság között és óvatos a támadások megtervezésében, leginkább a kisebb veszteséggel járó célpontokat keresik. Emellett folyamatos toborzást folytatnak a Szíria északkeleti részén fekvő táborokban” – közölték az ENSZ szakértői.
Az ENSZ szerint az Iszlám Állam jelenleg Afganisztánban jelenti a legsúlyosabb terrorfenyegetést, ahol a jelentések alapján a szervezet növelte műveleti képességeit és a becslések alapján 4000-6000 harcossal rendelkezik.
Lloyd Austin amerikai védelmi miniszter a múlt héten az Egyesült Államok-Irak Közös Biztonsági Együttműködés Párbeszéd (US-Iraq Joint Security Cooperation Dialogue – JSCD) első ülésén kijelentette, hogy az Iszlám Állam változatlanul fenyegetést jelent, annak ellenére, hogy az iraki biztonsági erők óriási előrelépést tettek a tartós győzelem felé.
Az Emberi Jogok Szíriai Megfigyelőközpontja (OSDH) nevű civil szervezet augusztusi jelentése szerint a terrorszervezet alvó sejtekben működik a valaha az uralma alatt álló szíriai területeken. A múlt héten a szervezet harcosai rátámadtak egy szíriai kormánykatonákat szállító buszra és 23 katonát megöltek.
Az Iszlám Állam szunnita terrorszervezetet Abu Muszab az-Zarkávi alapította 1999-ben. A csoport az iraki térség polgárháborújának káoszából nőtt ki, és 2014-ben hatalmas iraki és szíriai területeket foglalt el. A terrorszervezet visszaszorítására összeálló nemzetközi koalíció 2017-ig harcolt ellenük, az amerikai támogatással és kurd vezetés alatt működő Szíriai Demokratikus Erők (SDF) csapatai 2019-ig folytattak nagyobb műveleteket dzsihadista fészkek felszámolására.

A védelmi minisztérium beszámolója szerint egy amerikai dróncsapás végzett az Iszlám Állam egyik vezetőjével Szíriában, órákkal azután, hogy ugyanezeket az MQ-9 Reaper drónokat orosz katonai gépek zavarták meg az ország nyugati része felett.
Egy amerikai védelmi tisztviselő szerint pénteken három Reaper repült a militáns után kutatva a fejük felett, amikor mintegy két órán át orosz gépek zavarták őket. Nem sokkal ezután a drónok lecsaptak és végeztek Usamah al-Muhajirral.
Esélye sem volt a menekülésre A célszemély motoron ült Aleppó térségében, amikor becsapódott a rakéta. A célszemély általában keleten tevékenykedett, de a támadás idején megjelent Szíria északnyugati részén, amit az USA hadserege kihasznált.
A központi parancsnokság vasárnapi közleménye szerint nincs jele annak, hogy a csapásban civilek életüket vesztették volna. Péntek már a harmadik egymást követő nap volt, amikor az USA arra panaszkodott, hogy orosz vadászgépek vannak a térségben, és zavaró manővereket alkalmaztak velük szemben.
Elmondásuk szerint az orosz gépek 18 szakszerűtlenül közeli átrepülést hajtottak végre, ami arra késztette a drónokat, hogy reagáljanak, elkerülvén ezzel a veszélyes helyzeteket. Az első ilyen esetre szerdán került sor, majd csütörtökön, amiben francia gépek is érintettek voltak, nemcsak az USA gépei.
Amerikai tisztviselők szerint a drónjaik a korábbi repülések során fegyvertelenek voltak, pénteken viszont már más volt a helyzet, mivel a célszemélyre vadásztak – írja a cikkében a France24 a támadást követően.

Az ugandai hatóság biztos abban, hogy a terrorakciót a Szövetséges Demokratikus Erők (ADF) fegyveresei hajtották végre. Ez a szervezet a KDK-ban működő egyik ISIS-utód, melynek tagjait jelenleg is üldözi a hadsereg. Legtöbbjük valószínűleg már átjutott a határszakaszon.
A péntek esti támadás során leégett az iskola egyik kollégiuma, és kifosztottak egy élelmiszerboltot is.
Az iskolák gyakori célpontjai az újjáéledő afrikai terrorszervezeteknek Nem csak Ugandában, de Nigériában, Ruandában és Dél-Szudánban is több terrortámadás történt az elmúlt években iskolák, kollégiumok, középiskolai szálláshelyek ellen. A rajtaütések értelmetlen mészárlások, mert legtöbbször nem ejtenek túszokat és nem követelnek váltságdíjat. Céljuk a civil lakosság megfélemlítése, és a pszichikai nyomásgyakorlás, hogy a falusi gyerekek és fiatalok lépjenek be az ISIS utód-szervezteibe.
Maga az ADF egy már 1995 óta létező bűnszervezet, amely 2018-ban felkínálkozott az Iszlám Államnak. Ez azt jelenti, hogy az általa elkövetett terrorakciókat az ISIS nevében hajtotta végre, amit az magára vállalt, növelve ezzel a terrorállam nemzetközi súlyát és fenyegetését.
A Kalifátus színeiben végrehajtott terrortámadások 2019 áprilisában kezdődtek, amikor megtámadták a Kongói Demokratikus Köztársaság fegyveres erőinek egyik támaszpontját. Ugandából kiverte őket a hadsereg, és azóta a régió minden tájáról toboroz fegyvereseket. 2019 óta mintegy 400 civil haláleset köthető a nevükhöz.
Az ENSZ menekültügyi ügynöksége, az UNHCR szerint a terrorcsoport 2021 januárja óta csaknem 40 000 embert kényszerített otthona elhagyására, és eközben nem csak az ugandai kormány, de az ENSZ csapatait is célba veszi.

Péntek délután Ijád Al-Hasszanit, az Iszlám Dzsihád nevű iszlamista terrorszervezet hadműveleti parancsnokát, kedd hajnal óta a szervezet hatodik vezetőjét ölte meg Gáza város egy lakására lecsapva az izraeli légierő – írja az MTI. Az izraeli hadsereg szóvivői szerint az elmúlt napokban Al-Hasszani vette át az alakulat észak-gázai vezetőjének, Kalil Batininak a feladatait is, miután vele kedd reggel célzott kivégzéssel leszámoltak.
Ijád Al-Hasszani részt vett az Iszlám Dzsihád Izrael elleni rakétatámadásainak összes döntésében. Az ellene végrehajtott légicsapásban két ember vesztette életét és öten megsebesültek. Emellett légicsapást mértek a terrorcsoport két parancsnokságára is.
A Gázai övezet környékén válaszul többször megszólaltak a szirénák, több hullámban indítottak ismét lövedékeket a szomszédos izraeli települések ellen. A Pajzs és nyíl hadművelet keddi kezdete óta 937 rakétát lőttek ki Izrael irányába Gázából, melyek közül 761 haladt át a határon, miután 181 még az övezet területén landolt.

Törökország „semlegesítette” az Iszlám Állam (IÁ) nevű szélsőséges milícia feltételezett vezetőjét egy szíriai bevetés során – közölte vasárnap Recep Tayyip Erdogan török elnök.
Az Anadolu állami hírügynökség szerint Erdogan a TRT Türk török műsorszolgáltatónak azt mondta, hogy az Abu Huszein al-Kurasi fedőnevű férfit a török hírszerző szervezet (MIT) által szombaton végrehajtott műveletben „semlegesítették”.
„Az MIT hosszú ideje követte al-Kurasit” – mondta Erdogan. Hozzátette: folytatni fogjuk a harcot a terrorszervezetekkel, minden megkülönböztetés nélkül.
Ankara a „semlegesített” kifejezést használja a megölt vagy elfogott fegyveresekre. Törökország 2020 óta állomásoztat csapatokat Észak-Szíriában, és szíriai megbízottjaival ellenőrzi az északi területeket.
A török hírszerzés és a törökök által támogatott helyi katonai rendőrség szombaton lezárta az északnyugati Afrin régióban lévő Dzsindiresz városától északra fekvő területet, mintegy 10 kilométerre a török határtól.

Az Egyesült Államok légicsapásokat hajtottak végre a Szíria északi részén lévő Aleppó tartományban. A műveletek az Iszlám Állam terrorszervezet egyik magas rangú vezetőjét célozták, aki a támadás során vélhetően életét vesztette – jelentette be hétfőn a Twitteren az USA hadseregének közel-keleti és közép-ázsiai műveleteit irányító Középső Parancsnoksága (Centcom).
A támadásokban két fegyveres is meghalt – áll a közleményben, melyben hozzátették azt is, hogy a légicsapásoknak nincsenek civil áldozatai.
A bejelentést tevő Emberi Jogok Szíriai Megfigyelőközpontja (OSDH) nevű civil szervezet úgy tudja, a légicsapásokat a tartomány keleti részén fekvő Dzsarábulusz térségében hajtották végre.
Az amerikai csapatok támogatását élvező Szíriai Demokratikus Erők (SDF) nevű kurd-arab milíciaszövetség szintén azt közölte, hogy a támadások Dzsarábuluszt érték, az akciót pedig a Kobaninál található támaszpontról indították.
Az OSDH vezetője, Rámi Abder-Rahmán a sajtónak azt mondta, a műveletek a dzsihadisták Abu al-Bará néven ismert parancsnokát célozták, aki csaknem egy hónapja rejtőzött el a törökbarát milíciák ellenőrizte területen.
A térségben aktív, fehérsisakosok néven ismert, nem hivatalos szíriai polgári védelem (SCD) azt közölte, hogy a légitámadások mellett az amerikai erők szárazföldön is csapást hajtottak végre.

A szíriai polgárháború eseményeit nyomon követő, brit székhelyű szervezet tudomása szerint a dzsihadisták Palmüra romvárosának térségében rátámadtak szarvasgombát gyűjtők egy 75 fős csoportjára és megöltek tíz civilt és a szíriai hadsereg egyik katonáját.

Az afganisztáni tálib vezetés szóvivője akkor közölte, hogy a főleg kínai állampolgárokat vendégül látó hotelben robbanások és lövések voltak hallhatók, a közösségi médiában megosztott felvételek tanúsága szerint a szálloda épületéből egész délután füst áradt.
A tálib biztonsági erők a helyszínre kiérkezve három támadót megöltek. A kabuli kórház késő délután a Twitteren közölte, hogy 21 sebesültet látnak el, és három halottat szállítottak be hozzájuk. Hétfőn még egyetlen szervezet sem vállalta magára a támadást, de keddre az Iszlám Állam megtette.
Egy, a dzsihadista szervezeteket online nyomon követő csoport, név szerint a Site Intelligence Group szerint az Iszlám Állam állítja, hogy a támadás a szállodában lakó kínai állampolgárok ellen irányult, és hogy összesen 30 áldozata volt, azaz magasabb számot írtak, mint a hivatalos afgán közlés.
Beszámolójában az MTI megjegyzi, hogy a közösségi oldalakon több videót is megosztottak, melyen a hotel lángokban áll, a felvételek valódiságát azonban nem lehetett azonnal ellenőrizni.
