Két kárpátaljai származású katona vesztette életét a háborúban.
A kölcsényi (Kolcsino) származású Ivan Saleni Bahmut térségében, a harctéren vesztette életét, miközben a bajtársai életét mentette. A munkácsi Vladiszlav Svec január 3-án vesztette életét harci feladatok teljesítése közben a kelet-ukrajnai fronton, őt felesége, két lánya és unokája gyászolja.
A háborúban eddig elhunytak közül tizenegy magyar származású áldozatról van tudomásunk – tette hozzá a kárpátaljai hírportál.

Az elmúlt napokban több kárpátaljai katona is életét vesztette a fronton.
Vitalij Bencsak a técsői járási Taracközről származik. Civil aktivista, önkéntes, részt vett a Majdanon, az ATO-ban, s idén is azonnal jelentkezett katonai szolgálatra a háború kezdetén.
Felsővereckét is szomorú hír rázta meg a minap, életét vesztette az 1991-es születésű Hriha Mihajlo Vasziljovics.
Bolehan Viktor ökörmezői járási lakos az ellentámadás során hunyt el. A kistérség vezetősége elmondta, hogy eddig már négy helyi katona vesztette életét a harcban. A férfi a 128-as dandárnál szolgált.
A viski Fanta Vaszil Vasziljevics szintén a 128-as dandárnál teljesített szolgálatot, a 48 éves férfi a halálhírét szintén a napokban közölték.
A Nagyszőlősi Városi Tanács KlodzinszkijIhor és Olekszandr Korik halálhíréről számolt be. Nagyszőlősi és felsőveresmarti lakosok voltak.
