Tizenéveseket vettek őrizetbe Kijevben, akik katonai járműveket gyújtottak fel könnyű pénzszerzés céljából, akár nyolc év börtönbüntetést is kaphatnak – számolt be pénteken az rbc.ua hírportál a kijevi rendőrség sajtószolgálatára hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint a nyomozás megállapította, hogy a két fiatalkorú vállalta egy orosz kurátor utasításának végrehajtását, aki a Telegramon keresztül vette fel velük a kapcsolatot. A hírek szerint 1500 dolláros fizetséget ígért nekik egy ukrán katona autójának felgyújtásáért. A tinédzserek gyúlékony keveréket vásároltak, és éjszaka felgyújtották a terepjárót, a bűncselekményt pedig videóra vették a jelentéshez. Ennek következtében az autó motortere és belseje megrongálódott.
A gyanúsítottaktól lefoglalták a felforgató tevékenységekre utaló bizonyítékokat tartalmazó mobiltelefonokat. A kurátor soha nem küldte el nekik az ígért pénzt. A tinédzserek akár nyolc év börtönbüntetést is kaphatnak.

A rendőrség leleplezett egy elítélt férfit, aki börtönből koordinálta a rendvédelmi és katonai járművek felgyújtásának kísérleteit Lembergben. A nyomozás adatai szerint a férfi egy üzenetküldő alkalmazáson keresztül kapott megbízást egy személytől, aki orosz bűnözői körök képviselőjének vallotta magát.
A férfi beleegyezett, hogy pénzért megszervezi a gyújtogatásokat. Ő maga talált elkövetőt, akinek instrukciókat adott az autók kiválasztásához, és megbeszélte vele a kifizetéseket. A megbízó egyik követelménye volt, hogy videófelvétel készüljön a gyújtogatásokról, hogy igazolni lehessen a feladat teljesítését.
A rendőrség speciális műveletet hajtott végre, amely megakadályozta a bűncselekményt, és szimulálták a gyújtogatást. A nyomozás során sikerült rekonstruálni a bűncselekmény minden fázisát: a megbízás átadásától a tervezett kifizetésig.
