Sydney egyik külvárosában, Mona Vale-ben igazi horrorjelenet játszódott le, amikor egy kisrepülő lezuhant egy játékosokkal teli golfpályára. A gépen tartózkodó oktató és tanuló csodával határos módon túlélték a balesetet, a történteket közelről szemlélő, majd azonnal a segítségükre siető golfozóknak köszönhetően.
A balesetről készült felvételen jól látszik, ahogy a Piper Cherokee típusú repülőgép hirtelen veszíti el a magasságát, miközben a pályán játszó sportolók rémülten kiáltanak fel. A gép végül nagy erővel csapódott a földbe, ám csodával határos módon, ha hajszál híján is, de elkerülte a golfozókat, így a tragédia még súlyosabb kimenetele szerencsére elmaradt – írja a The Sun.
A szemtanúk szerint az első reakciója mindenkinek a sokk volt – többen szinte az ép eszüket vesztve kiabáltak a zuhanást követően –, de a pályán tartózkodók között így is akadtak olyanok, akik azonnal a roncs felé siettek, hogy segítsenek a bent rekedt pilótának és tanulójának kiszabadulni a meglepően jó állapotban maradt roncsból.
A gépben ülő két ötvenes férfi – egy pilótakiképző és a tanítványa – az elsődleges jelentések szerint csak könnyebb sérüléseket szenvedett. A helyszínre érkező mentősök ellátták őket, majd a Royal North Shore kórházba szállították, ahol jelenleg stabil állapotban ápolják őket.
Az ausztrál közlekedésbiztonsági hatóság (Australian Transport Safety Bureau) vizsgálatot indított az ügyben, egyelőre azt sem zárják ki, hogy műszaki hiba vezetett a több helyen is kényszerleszállásként említett manőverhez.
Mindezt alátámaszthatja az esetről készült másik felvétel is, amelyen jól látható, hogy a repülőt még az utolsó pillanatokban is a lehető legpuhább landolásra próbálják rávenni.
A repülőgép Camdenből szállt fel délután 1 óra körül, úti célja Wollongong lett volna. A repülés azonban tragikus fordulatot vett, amikor a gép kénytelen volt megszakítani útját, és végül a golfpályán ért földet.
Az elmúlt hetekben több hasonló baleset is történt a világban. Alig egy hónapja Észak-Olaszországban zuhant le egy kisrepülő, amely Brescia tartományban egy forgalmas autópályára csapódott. Ott már nem volt ilyen szerencsés a végkimenetel: a gép a becsapódáskor felrobbant, és két ember az életét vesztette.

A CNN beszámolója szerint a baleset akkor történt, amikor a repülőgép megkísérelte a leszállást az anyahajó fedélzetére. A fékrendszer meghibásodása miatt a vadászgép nem tudott időben megállni, és lesodródott a fedélzetről a vízbe.
A gép helyzetét jelenleg nem ismerik, keresési művelet zajlik.
A pilóta és a fedélzeten tartózkodó tiszt időben katapultáltak, és a mentőhelikopter gyorsan kimentette őket. Mindketten könnyebb sérüléseket szenvedtek, életveszély nem áll fenn.
Az amerikai haditengerészet hivatalos vizsgálatot indított az eset körülményeinek tisztázására.

Öt embert sikerült kimenekíteni Bolíviában egy amazonasi mocsárból, miután 36 órát töltöttek egy repülőgép tetején, számos aligátor között – közölték helyi hatóságok. A lezuhant gépre halászok bukkantak, így tudtak időben segítséget hívni. A BBC cikke alapján a túlélőket – három nőt, egy gyermeket és a 29 éves pilótát – pénteken találták meg.
A kereső- és mentőakció csütörtökön indult a felkutatásukra: a szakembereket azt követően küldték ki, hogy a gép – amely Bauresből Trinidadba tartott – eltűnt a radarokról. A pilóta a helyi médiának nyilatkozva elárulta, hogy az út során motorhibát tapasztalt, amely miatt kényszerleszállást kellett végrehajtaniuk az Itanomas folyó közelében, az aligátorokkal teli mocsárba.
Legbiztonságosabbnak a gép tetejét vélték, így mindannyian felmásztak oda. A túlélők szerint nem voltak könnyű helyzetben, ugyanis a ragadozók alig pár méterre voltak tőlük, teljesen körbevették őket. Annyi szerencséjük volt, hogy a repülőgépből szivárgó üzemanyag távol tartotta az aligátorokat.
Vizük nem volt, étel gyanánt pedig némi maniókalisztet fogyasztottak, ami az egyik utasnál volt. Miután a halászok felfedezték a gépet, helikopter érkezett a túlélők kimentésére, akikre egy tisztviselő szerint „kiváló állapotban” találtak rá. A biztonság kedvéért természetesen kórházba vitték őket – írja a lap.
Március közepén Észak-Karolinában zuhant le egy gép. Az eset a Pitt-Greenville repülőtér közelében történt, amit a repülőtér tisztviselői is megerősítettek. Úgy tudni, hogy egy egymotoros repülőgép volt érintett a balesetben.

Egy F–35 típusú vadászgép meghibásodás következtében zuhant le Alaszkában repülés közben, a pilóta sértetlenül túlélte a balesetet – számolt be a hirado.hu.
Az amerikai légierő pilótája biztonságban van, miután kedden az együléses F–35 vadászgép lezuhant egy alaszkai bázison tartott kiképzőgyakorlat során – írta a CNN.
A pilóta repülés közbeni meghibásodást tapasztalt, de sikerült katapultálnia a gépből, számolt be róla az ezred parancsnoka az azt követő sajtótájékoztatón. Elmondása szerint a repülőgép a leszállási szakaszban zuhant le az Eielson légibázison. A pilóta még a baleset előtt vészhelyzetet jelentett, de stabil állapotban volt, amikor az eset után orvosi kivizsgálásra vitték – tette hozzá.
A légierő közleménye szerint a kedden kora délután bekövetkezett baleset jelentős károkat okozott. A légierő kijelentette, hogy „alapos vizsgálatot fog végezni annak érdekében, hogy minimalizálják az ilyen esetek megismétlődésének esélyét”.
Az Eielson bázist 2016-ban választották ki ötvennégy F–35-ös vadászgép állomáshelyéül, ami egy több mint félmilliárd dolláros bővítést eredményezett.
A fejlesztés során 36 új épületet és több tucat lakóegységet építettek, valamint mintegy 3500 új aktív szolgálatban lévő katonát és családtagjaikat fogadták be.
Az F–35 képes több mint 12 órán át repülni egyetlen bevetésen, így szinte bárhová eljuthat az északi féltekén.

A Perth partjaitól 22 kilométerre kedden balesetet szenvedett vízi repülőgép fedélzetén hét ember tartózkodott. A rendőrség az éjszaka emelte ki a halálos áldozatok – egy 65 éves svájci nő, egy 60 éves dán férfi és a 34 éves perthi pilóta – holttestét búvárok közreműködésével – számolt be az Index az MTI nyomán.
A gép további négy utasát – a halálos áldozatok partnereit, egy 63 éves svájci férfit és egy 58 éves dán nőt, valamint egy nyugatausztrál párt – sikerült kimenteni, hárman orvosi ellátásban részesültek, állapotuk stabil, egyikük sincs életveszélyben, egy perthi kórházba szállították őket, az egyik kimentett utas pedig sértetlenül vészelte át a balesetet.
Számos közelben tartózkodó vízi jármű sietett késlekedés nélkül a baleset helyszínére – fűzte hozzá Cook, és elismerését fejezte ki bátorságukért, hogy saját biztonságukkal nem törődve segítettek a mentésben.

Egy ember életét vesztette, egy másik pedig súlyos sérüléseket szenvedett, amikor december 12-én egy kisrepülőgép lezuhant az észak-amerikai Westchester megye egyik autópályájára.
A 32 éves Yankele Friedman, aki repülési oktatóként dolgozott, meghalt a balesetben. A másik utas, a 26 éves Kalmen Goldberger állapota súlyos, jelenleg is kórházban kezelik. A repülőgép a New York állambeli Linden repülőteréről szállt fel, célja pedig a Westchester megyei West Harrison repülőtér volt – írja a CBS News.
Feltehetően a gép motorja hibásodott meg a célállomás felé vezető úton.
Az egyhajtóműves Tecnam P2008 típusú repülőgép végül 18:35-kor zuhant le az I-684-es autópályára.
Kathy Hochul, New York állam kormányzója az eset után az X platformon (korábban Twitter) közölte, hogy a szerencsétlenséget feltehetően üzemanyag szivárgása okozta. Joshua Friedman, az áldozat testvére elmondta, hogy a túlélő utas jelenleg kórházi ellátásban részesül.

Meghalt egy vezető ukrán pilóta, amikor hétfőn lezuhant egy amerikai gyártmányú F–16-os vadászgép – közölte a CNN-nel egy, az ukrán hadsereghez tartozó forrás.
Az ukránok nem hiszik, hogy pilótahiba áll az eset hátterében. A „Holdhal” néven ismert pilóta, Olekszij Mesz éppen az „Oroszország által Ukrajna ellen intézett eddigi legnagyobb légitámadás visszaverésében” vett részt, amikor a baleset történt a forrás szerint. A pilótát csütörtökön temették el – írja a Telex.
A CNN értesülése szerint a balesetet nemzetközi szakértők segítségével kivizsgálják. A híres pilóta halála súlyos csapás Ukrajna számára. Az első F–16-osok csak a hónap elején érkeztek meg az országba, és ő volt azon kevesek egyike, akik képesek a vezetésükre. Az ukrán pilóták egy csoportja ősszel kezdte meg az F–16-osok vezetéséhez szükséges kiképzést az Egyesült Államokban. Ez általában egy évet vesz igénybe, de a különleges helyzetre tekintettel fél évre rövidítették a felkészülési időt a most balesetben meghalt pilóta és társai számára.
Kijev sokáig várt az F–16-osokra, Volodimir Zelenszkij gyakorlatilag a háború kezdete óta kért nyugati szövetségeseitől vadászgépeket, de azok csak több mint két évvel az invázió után érkeztek meg.

A jelentés szerint az újságnak egy meg nem nevezett amerikai tisztviselő elmondta, hogy a vadászgépet nem az oroszok lőtték le. Az eset az Ukrajna elleni hatalmas rakétatámadás idején történt. Újságírók szerint a repülőgép-baleset oka valószínűleg a pilóta hibája volt.
A WSJ szerint a Pentagon utasította az ukrán fegyveres erők légierejét, hogy adjon tájékoztatást a gép lezuhanásával kapcsolatban. A kiadvány forrásaira hivatkozva azt is megírta, hogy az első leszállított tételben Ukrajna hat darab F-16-os vadászgépet kapott.
Az rbc.ua hírportál megkereste a légierőt, hogy reagáljon a hírre, de nem tudták sem megerősíteni, sem cáfolni az információt.
Néhány napja Volodimir Zelenszkij elnök kijelentette, hogy Ukrajna F-16-os vadászgépeket vetett be légterének a védelmére az oroszok augusztus 26-i hatalmas rakéta- és dróntámadása során. Szerinte ez a támadás a háború kezdete óta a legnagyobb volt – az ellenség 127 rakétát és 109 csapásmérő drónt használt. Mint az államfő megjegyezte, az F-16-osok segítségével Ukrajnának sikerült lelőnie „több rakétát és drónt”.

62-re emelkedett a pénteki brazil repülőgép-szerencsétlenség áldozatainak száma. A hatóságok az összes áldozat holttestét megtalálták, és a maradványok azonosítását is megkezdték.
Mint arról beszámoltunk, lezuhant egy 62 embert szállító utasszállító repülőgép péntek délután a brazíliai Sao Paulo külterületén. A Voepass légitársaság közleményben tudatta, hogy a 2283-as járat fedélzetén tartózkodók közül mindenki meghalt.
A brazil hatóságok mind a 62 utas maradványát megtalálták az utasszállító repülőgép roncsai között – írja a Sky News. Henguel Pereira, az állami polgári védelem koordinátora elmondta, hogy az áldozatok hozzátartozói Sao Paulóba utaztak, hogy DNS-mintát adjanak a maradványok azonosításához.
A hatóságok pedig az ülésbeosztás, a fizikai jellemzők, az okmányok és a tárgyak, például a mobiltelefonok alapján próbálták azonosítani az áldozatokat. A legtöbb áldozat holttestét a Sao Pauló-i rendőrség hullaházába szállították. A kormány közlése szerint 34 férfi és 28 női holttest volt a roncsok között. Dario Pacheco, Vinhedo polgármestere beszámolt arról, hogy a pilóta és a másodpilóta holttestét már azonosították.
Négy kettős állampolgárságú ember volt az áldozatok között, három venezuelai és egy portugál nő. A venezuelaiak egy négyéves kisfiú, az édesanyja és a nagymamája voltak, és a kisfiú kutyája is a járaton utazott.
