A bali hatóságok egy német és egy osztrák turistát keresnek, akiket elsodort a tenger, miközben egy másik turistát próbáltak onnan kimenteni – közölték a helyi hatóságok pénteken. A két ember egy népszerű búvárparadicsomban, a Nusa Penidán található Diamond Beach-nél tűnt el még kedden.
A kutatást vezető szakember azt mondta: az esős idő, az erős szél és a magas hullámok nehezítik a mentési munkálatokat, azonban tovább kutatnak az eltűntek után. Az a turista, akit ketten próbáltak kimenteni, biztonságban van.
A régióban vasárnap is történt is szerencsétlenség: akkor egy malajziai turista fulladt a tengerbe, miközben éppen azon volt, hogy kimentsen valakit.
Kedden 28 külföldi turistával a fedélzetén borult fel egy kirándulóhajó, ami Nusa Penidáról tartott a bali szárazföldre. A rendőrség közleménye szerint a fedélzeten tartózkodók mindegyik túlélte a balesetet.
