Szombaton vissza kellett fordulnia a szapporói repülőtérre a japán All Nippon Airways egyik belföldi járatának, miután a pilótafülke szélvédőjének egyik rétege megrepedt – közölte a légitársaság szóvivője. A szóban forgó gép egy 737-800-as volt, a négy közül a legkülső üvegrétegen találtak repedést.
A Toyamára tartó 1182-es járaton 59 utas és 6 fő személyzet utazott, az eset során senki nem volt veszélyben a társaság közleménye szerint. „A repedés nem volt olyan mértékű, amely befolyásolta volna a repülőgép irányítását vagy a nyomásszabályozást” – mondta az ANA szóvivője.
Az eset azután kapott nagyobb nyilvánosságot, hogy a múlt hétvégén az Alaska Airlines Boeing 737 Max 9 típusú repülőgépéről csaknem ötezer méteres magasságban leszakadt a vészkijárat-panel. A hirtelen nyomáscsökkenés életveszélyes helyzetet teremtett, csak a szerencsének volt köszönhető, hogy mindenki épségben átvészelte a balesetet.
Az Egyesült Államok légiközlekedési felügyelete az incidens miatt felfüggesztette a típus repülési engedélyét, ami mintegy 170 gépet érint. A tilalom mindaddig érvényben marad, míg megnyugtató megoldást nem találnak a biztonsági problémára – számolt be róla a CNA.
Habár a Japánban történt incidens egy másik modellnél következett be, és jelenleg még az oka sem tisztázott, a Boeinget érzékenyen érintheti az eset, hiszen az amerikai balesetet követően hatalmasat zuhant a vállalat a New York-i tőzsdén, miután Dave Calhoun vezérigazgató elismerte, hogy minőségellenőrzési hiba vezetett az ajtó kiszakadásához.

Furcsa körülményekről számoltak be a szemtanúk, akik látták a június utolsó estéjén kigyulladt, szinte teljesen új Tesla Model S Plaid járművet. Az Electrek szerint ez a modell csak néhány hete érhető el a vásárlók számára, tehát ez azt jelenti, hogy az elektromos autó valószínűleg alig volt használva.
Pontosan nem lehet tudni, hogy mi okozta a tüzet, mivel nagy sebességgel elszenvedett baleset után sem jellemző a legtöbb új autóra, hogy lángra kapjanak. Így az incidens pontos körülményei még mindig nem ismertek, de az egyik tanú érdekes dolgokat osztott meg az egyik közösségi oldalon.
Az egyik helyszínre kiérkezett mentős elmondása szerint a betelefonáló, aki jelentette az esetet, látta, hogy az autó lassan, lángolva gurult az úton, mielőtt felrobbant. A jármű tulajdonosát egyelőre nem azonosították.
Az Electrek megírta, hogy a modellt a vártnál csak később lehetett megvásárolni, mivel a Tesla vállalata biztonságos akkumulátort szeretett volna biztosítani az ügyfelei számára. Mindemellett a cég autói nem képesek magukat irányítani anélkül, hogy valaki a járműben tartózkodna (kivéve a Smart Summont, ami alacsony sebességgel képes rövid távolságokat haladni sofőr nélkül), ami felveti a kérdést, hogy hogyan gurult az autó lángolva, magától. A körülmények igencsak furcsák, mivel nem tudni, hogy pontosan mi okozta a lángokat, de a gyújtogatást sem lehet teljesen kizárni.

A törökországi Antalya érintésével megérkezett Zanzibárból kedd reggel Kjevbe a SkyUp légitársaság gépe azzal a 180 ukrán turistával, aki három napig rostokolt az afrikai szigeten, mert meghibásodott a repülőgép, amelynek haza kellett volna szállítania őket – jelentette a strana.ua hírportál.
A tudósítás szerint a turistákat szállító repülőgépet Zanzibárból Kijev felé tartva a törökországi Antalyában üzemanyaggal töltötték fel, a három napon át étlen-szomjan rostokoló utasokat pedig meleg étellel látták el. A légikatasztrófa körülményeiről szóló teljes jelentést csak jövőre publikálják, de most ismertettek néhány részletet.
A Sriwijaya Air balesetéről szóló előzetes jelentés szerint a pilótáknak már szinte azonnal a felszállás után küzdeniük kellett azért, hogy irányban tartsák a Boeing 737–500-as repülőgépet. A gép a Jáva-tenger felett járt, amikor megszakadt vele a kapcsolat.
A gép négy perccel a felszállás után érte el a legnagyobb magasságot, 10 900 lábat, de 21 másodperc múlva már 250 lábbal volt a tengerszint felett, vagyis körülbelül 340 mérföld/órás (mintegy 547 km/órás) sebességgel zuhant.
Mint Nurcahyo Utomo, az indonéziai nemzeti közlekedésbiztonsági bizottság vezetője elmondta, hogy miután a gépen bekapcsolták a robotpilótát, a bal oldali hajtóművet szabályozó kar hátrafelé mozgott, csökkentve ennek a hajtóműnek a tolóerejét. Ez az automatika már korábban is okozott problémákat a pilótáknak. Ez a gép ugyan kilenc hónapot állt a járvánnyal kapcsolatban, de a légitársaság ellenőrizte, mielőtt újra forgalomba állt.
Mint az airportal.hu cikkéből kiderül, a gép karbantartási naplója alapján megállapították, hogy január 3-án és 4-én jelentettek ezzel kapcsolatos hibát. Ezeket követően a karbantartók megtisztították a rendszer elektromos csatlakozóit és a hozzá kapcsolódó egyes kezelőszerveket (pl. TOGA gomb), az utána lefuttatott ellenőrzések nem jeleztek hibát, így tanúsították, hogy a gép alkalmas a repülésre. A január 5. és a katasztrófa bekövetkezése közötti napokban nem merült fel probléma a tolóerő-szabályzó automatikával vagy a gép más rendszereivel a karbantartási napló szerint.
Mint a portál írja, a hajtóművek teljesítményét szabályzó automatika hibája esetén a pilótáknak egy kapcsolóval lehetősége van a berendezés inaktiválására és a gázkarokkal a hajtóművek teljesítményének kézi beállítására, így a repülőgép teljesíthet járatot a rendszer ismert hibája vagy működésképtelensége esetén is, ha ezt megfelelően dokumentálják, és a pilóták az automatikát nem használják. Ebben az esetben azonban a pilóták ahelyett, hogy lekapcsolták volna a hibás rendszert, és a továbbiakban kézzel szabályozták volna a hajtóművek teljesítményét, megpróbálták működésre bírni az automatikát.
Innen nem messze zuhant le egyébként két évvel korábban a Lion Air gépe is, mely szintén néhány perccel az indonéz fővárosból való felszállás után zuhant a Jáva-tengerbe. Ez volt a Boeing 737 repülőgépek két, egymást követő balesetéből az első, amelyek miatt ez a típust végül 20 hónapig kényszerült parkolni világszerte, míg a szoftvereivel kapcsolatos aggályokat kivizsgálták. A Maxok azóta egyre több helyen repülhetnek újra. A Sriwijaya Air járat a Boeing 737-es „klasszikus” változata volt.
2007-ben az EU az összes indonéz légitársaságot a biztonsági aggályok miatt „feketelistára” tette, vagyis megtiltotta vagy korlátozta az Európai Unión belül ezeknek a légitársaságoknak a működését, amelyekről úgy véli, hogy nem felelnek meg a nemzetközi biztonsági előírásoknak – adja hírül az independent.co.uk.
