Minden előzetes szóváltás vagy bármilyen ok nélkül a metró alá lökött egy 52 éves nőt egy afrikai migráns Párizsban. A nő – akit nem is ismert – meghalt. A gyilkost órákkal később fogták el, mert lopott egy boltban. Akkor azonosították.
A szemtanúk szerint afrikai férfi pénteken délelőtt fél tíz körül lökte a RER síneire a párizsi Cité Universitaire állomáson a nőt – írja a Le Figaro. A RER egy párizsi elővárosi gyorsvasúthálózat, amely egyfajta átmenet a HÉV és a metró között, a RER vonatok részben használják is a metróvonalakat.
A nő súlyosan megsérült, de ekkor még felállt, megpróbált kimászni, de már nem tudott, az érkező szerelvény halálra gázolta. A gyilkos migráns elfutott.
A rendőrök nem sokkal délután négy óra előtt Párizs egyik külvárosában, Vitry-sur-Seine-ben fogták el, mert lopott egy boltból. Ezután bevallotta, hogy ő követte el a reggeli gyilkosságot.
A bestiális gyilkosságot felvették a RER biztonsági kamerái, így a bizonyítékok egyértelműek.
A gyilkosság július 14-én, a francia nemzeti ünnepen történt. A nyolc napig tartó, néhány napja véget ért migránslázadás miatt az ünnepi eseményeket egyébként 45 ezer rendőr biztosítja. A francia hírtelevíziók szerint a gyilkos afrikai migráns azt mondta: nem ismerte az áldozatát, semmi oka nem volt annak, hogy megölte – egyszerűen gyilkolni akart.

A peronon lévő többi utas azonnal jelezte a közeledő metróvezetőnek, hogy a sínen van valaki, így a sofőr még időben meghúzta a vészféket.
Az elkövető rögtön elmenekült a helyszínről, de a rendőrség hamar beazonosította és őrizetbe vette. A 23 éves férfi ellen szombaton emberölési kísérlet miatt emelt vádat a bíróság. A francia állampolgárságú férfi indítékai pedig egyelőre nem ismertek. A bíróság döntése alapján most pszichiáter vizsgálja, hogy milyen mentális állapotban van a fiatalember.

A feltételezett elkövető elhagyta a helyszínt, de nem sokkal később jelentkezett a rendőrségen – számolt be a The Guardian.
Az incidens előzmények nélkül történt, az áldozat és a tettes között semmiféle kapcsolat vagy interakció nem volt – mondta Keechant Sewell rendőrkapitány, aki a polgármesterrel, Eric Adamsszel közösen tartott sajtótájékoztatót az érintett metróállomáson.
Egy szemtanú szerint a férfi hozzá is közeledett és úgy érezte, a férfi igyekszik belökni őt a sínekre. Neki végül sikerült elsétálnia, ám visszanézve látta, ahogy a férfi belök egy másik nőt a szerelvény elé. A gyanúsított nevét egyelőre nem közölték, de annyit igen, hogy van bűnügyi előélete, jelenleg is feltételesen volt szabadlábon.
